FOR A FIRST OVERVIEW, TEST THE RIG FREE HERE (BETA 12/112013) :
http://cg-animation.com/AutoRig.html (for all versions of 3ds Max from 2011, but optimized for 3ds max 2014!)
More details : http://cg-animation.com/Download/LHAutoRig.pdf
Maya already has a wide selection of quality rigs, but 3ds Max doesn't.
So if you are an animation fan looking for a quality rig for 3ds Max (all versions), without any notion of rigging required, this is the answer : we have developed independently an automated rig which works with all kinds of characters ( biped, quadruped or others ), with a UI for animating as well as other animation scripts.
To facilitate the work of animators, LH | Auto -Rig allows you to choose its complexity (stretch , curves , snaps ... ) and optimize its weight for your needs. Moreover , once created, it is still completely customizable and editable by the user ! Saving time for your productions!
The first version of the system is already completed and operational in a production environment. It has already been used in several short films and commercials in different studios.
Today, our project is to finalize LH | Auto-Rig to make it available to buy to all via an online platform. The goal is to eventually expand it to a sharing website about animation , rigging and scripting.
If the project is successful, all Kissbankers receive benefits for having supported this project!

Make any sort of Rig and as much rig that you want :
It's simple, no notion of rigging required! Just follow these 5 easy steps to create your own rig:
1. Select the different body-parts your want to create and adjustment the number of fingers if necessary
2. Create the various helpers which will help defining the proportions of the character
3. Define the type of joint and the number of bones.
4. Preview the rig / copy the helpers from one side to the other / backup the position of the helpers if necessary.
5. Finalize the rig.
Ready to be skinned end then animated!
+ The last part is optional to better manage the weight of the rig depending on its use.
It allows you to add cartoon options such as stretch, curve on the arms and legs, scale, snaps and many other things will come in the next versions!
MOTION CAPTURE ?
Only if the project succeeded and if users we ask us this. A base already exists with management of .bip, a insight :

CAN I TEST THE RIG ?
To test the rig or simply train yourself to animation, we created a character with LH | Auto-Rig. This little character is ready to use with everything you need for facial expressions - How fun! It will be available in two versions.
First simple version free (no curves, no scales, no snaps, no UI ) is available here (beta) : http://cg-animation.com/AutoRig.html (optimize for 3dsMax 2014)
This project is a independent project, all donations will we be very useful and will be used to complete this project and create useful and innovative tools for future projects and animation in general !
