This new album will, once again, celebrate my poetry, putting my breton language higher than before and celebrating all 7000 langages of this planet in a Sarabande and Holly Dance ! Babel Pow Wow !

The project

I am Dom DufF, breton singer guitarist and troubadour. I am working to record my 5th album "Babel Pow Wow" and will be release April 2013.  I live in Brittany (West Europe) and i am writing and singing my songs in my native breton celtic language.

This album pays tribute to the world's cultures, languages​​, to all those people who use their words and their rhythms to sing, dance, laugh,  ... The idea came to me after many meetings with different fans, speaking about multilingal cultures : our imaginery, rythm of our words, of our music.  

As usual, I sing my native breton language, adding my guitar licks surrounds by fiddle, bass and percussions to these stomping songs and tunes.

 

It's about local & global troubles, causes, ...

Why fund it?

I am looking for people to help make the album possible by purchasing a copy in advance, or if you would like to contribute more to the making of the album by purchasing one of the other rewards on offer. The money raised will cover the musicians fees, mixing, mastering and duplication.

 

To record the album I need to employ musicians playing fiddle, bass, drums and percussions. 

The cost of musicians, mixing, mastering the album will be €2000 .

Manufacturing, duplication 2000 cds and SACEM will be €3000 .

Artwork and postage will be €1000.  

The target amount I am looking to raise on fund it is €6,000.

Every pledge made will help me get closer to this target.
