The project
In April of this year, we left home for a 9 month-long journey, where we would combine travelling with touring. We have already been to London, England; Montréal, Québec; and we’re in Toronto, Ontario at the moment. Our next destinations are New-York City and Los Angeles in the USA; Christchurch, New Zealand; and Sydney, Australia.
So far we have had some awesome shows, and met some amazing people. Among them, two aspiring producers who offered us the possibility of RECORDING OUR FIRST ALBUM...
On September 17th, we will enter the studio (we are hesitating between two - both being able to host us) in Los Angeles, California for 3 weeks to record the album, with Aurélien Rubod and Rick Grice. The album will contain 12 unreleased and unheard Metropolitan Parc tracks that we have been working on since January. We are proud of these songs, as they are the best that we could have written in our frame of mind. This project will mark a turning point for the band, and we are more than motivated and enthused to see it through.
