This is a strategic real time massively multiplayer online webgame. The game takes place inside an entity, a divinity called Ombrance ad shows the birth and death of universes. players are souls incarnated in stars. Their goal : increase their soul strengh. All is good to achieve this :grow the star, help and collaboriate with others players, betrayes them and makes them explode, makes chain reactions...
in the end, only the 8 strongest souls will become Ombrance's chosens to accomplish her will (and so they would have won the game, of course).
The game is available in FreeToPlay (so, it's basically free with paying options) at th address : http://www.obigbang.com
Here's our YouTube page where you can see the ingame video made during the development : http://www.youtube.com/user/entreloup
About the Ombrance's Chronicles :
We want to develop ours upcomming games in a unique universe where players will find reference to older events (or future ones). The goal is to tell the story of this universe through several games. The timeline is almost defined and goes through thousands of years. O Big Bang takes place near the beginning of this timeline.
About our technology :
It has taken us a lot of time to build it and as a result we now have a very flexible game engine:
- Massively multiplayer
- Game rule are updatables with almost no coding
- Very flexible engine usable for different kinds of game
About us :
We are a team of 4: Yann, Catherine, Tony and me, Régis. Nice to meet you! I am the big boss and my main task is coding and it's cool !
Another progammer: Tony. It's very useful a Tony, you should give it a try! This guy is 100% phlegm and kindness. I can remenber seeing him complain. Once.
Catherine is un charge of paper work and accounting And better, she makes pastries and that's really cool. :-)
And last, Yann. Well, what's his job? Almost all the rest: game design, web design, graphic arrangement, management, communication. He even sometimes makes a mess in our coding work... Yeah I know.
