WHY THEIR COLLABORATION?
Anthony Joseph wanted to change musical direction and try a new musical adventure, Meshell has offered to produce his new album.
The aim is to highlight the poetry of Anthony but in another musical setting, with the model work by Richard Russell on the last album of Gil Scott Heron. The music on this album should be more electronic than before, with an ethnic vibe , Abstract Funk, Jazz-tinged, rock but remaining "Soulful" thanks to Meshell's bass.
The collaboration between the two artists is going so well that finally Meshell will not only produce the whole album but also compose all the tracks on this new album. It will be for sure a project of international character, Meshell has a strong fan base in the United States and England.
This album will be recorded at the end of April in Paris, with the group that accompanies Meshell on tour.
