How habitants from the amazonian jungle perceive and interact with sounds objects ? We'll answer this question with a web-documentary.

The project

Fixed Sound art, in other words, the art of transform and organize in time and space an ensemble of sounds choosen and processed with minuty is sometimes critized, many times called anti-musical.

There starts the initiative from "Sonus mordicus" in agust 2012 of bringing this music of "everything is possible" to a group of persons not conditionated by the urban globalized world.

A little team has gone in the Amazonian jungle, with the aim to offer an electroacustic concert to a metissed community in that zone (estern peru). This initiative was self financied, and we could only film that quick little video in order to document the event.

half-succes or half-failure... the lack of funds didnt't leave us nor the time, neither gave us the opportunity to produce a web documentary veritably interesting. we couldn't pay the services of  a guide that could help us.   The second step of the project is to return to the amazonian jungle and to live a few days with the habitants of the madre de dios region in the south east peru in order to try to understand the richness of their perception of sounds and to constat how they would like to interact with electroacustic music. a web documentary will be produced and will tend to answer those questions.

so, 1, 2,3,4,5,6 euros, or more, every penny is valid and will help us.

Why fund it?

we have decided to revive the project (lauched here end of 2012), because we have received material for the shooting which has been gently offered, and that the editing will be done by a volonter. thanks a lot !

In december 2014, we'll leave in the region of madre de dios at the south east of peru for the second step of the project "sound art in amazonia" in order to make this dream of a web documentary come true.

We'll need of less fund than expected at first.

the fundings will serve for :

-the fabrication of the sensors which will permit interraction between electroacoustic music and local music : 120€

- paying the guide, the food and the transport in the deep jungle : 700€

- 8% charged by kiss kiss bank bank : 70 €

TOTAL : 890 € ( it is a minimum... )

If we pass the 890€, good news !!

we will be able to :

-integrer subtitles and create voice off in several language (english, spanish)

-promote this experience on the web and in the audiovisual landscape

-improve the technical conditions of the audio and video production.

thanks in advance for your financial support (even little ones... 1 € is 1 €), human, material, moral, media or with your advices and suggestions !
