INTRODUCING THE NAME OF THE SHOW!!!
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM:
At first glance it appears you are observing the arbitrary meeting of four characters sharing cigars and whisky. As events unfold, pretenses unravel uncovering their vulnerabilities, intimate relationships, and hidden true natures. The audience delves into a theatrical world - often absurd and hysteric - through a mix of acrobatics, hand to hand, handstands, and chinese pole. Hoping to bring a new genre to the world of circus, "Le Roux" is a collision of styles from their past experiences, reunited in one show.
About the company:
"Le Roux" is the union of four artists with a shared passion for circus. Philip, Yannick, and Greg studied at the National Circus School of Montreal and Lolita at the ESAC- College of Circus Arts in Brussels. They have traveled across the world with The 7 Fingers, Circus Monti, Vague du Cirque and have played in numerous German Varieties. They have won two bronze medals at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris and the "Sol y Circo” Festival in Germany. Currently they can be seen in the Broadway musical revival of PIPPIN, which received four Tony Awards including "Best Revival of a Musical." After working on multiple continents for several different companies, they have now shifted their focus towards creating their own project, "Le Roux." The company has already been hosted by l'Espace Périphérique, La Grainerie, and Louhossoa and has been produced by Pyrénées de Cirque and the Central Del Circ.
