A large spectrum of all kinds of workshops and events around dance and performanceare being offered there as well as calls for artists, teacher and students from all around the globe. It is perceived as a plattform that exchanges and represents various ideas about contemporary dance and performance art and practices.
The danceweb scholarship for Impulstanz offers a 5 week training progam, with free access to all workshops and events, such as mentoring and also the accomodation in Vienna.
I GOT SELECTED TO BE ONE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS!!! :-)

60 people out of about 1000 applicants get choosen to take part. Schlarshipholders are mainly dancer, performer and choreographer from different backgrounds and ages.
The program allows to exchange, connect, discuss, experiment with each other, find out more about what your collegues from far away or next door are busy with and offers a wide range of possible experiences in vienna for one summer long.
Mentor of this year will be Tino Sehgal, visual and performance artist that will set the focus of this years edition on visual arts in choreography, dance and performance.
Workshops, teacher, students and events will be concentrating on this specific meetingpoint of the different artistic practices:

TO PARTICIPATE I NEED TO FIND 2150 € , WHICH IS ONE THIRD OF THE WHOLE AMOUNT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP. TWO THIRD ARE COVERED BY DANCEWEB.
In this side I am trying to gather about 55 percent of the whole amout. The other part will be covered by myself. As I am just a poor student it is not so easy to gather the money. And therefore I am in need of your help!!
