But what is Born to Be Wild exactly?

With Born to Be Wild, we will grow, process and market dried medicinal herbs that are commonly used for their health benefits (digestion, sleepless, mummy, flu, detox, etc.), as well as our own designed blends.

We will also offer subscription boxes (by theme or personalised) via our e-shop. You will have the guarantee to receive each month a loose-leaf herbal tea that fits your needs !

Herbal sorbets… why not? Some plants exhale round, fresh, sweet, floral, greedy or suave flavours. Herbal sorbet will soon become your favourite summertime treat!

The herb-infused syrup is all that gives our handcrafted sorbet and ice pop its white or creamy natural colour. A touch of colour will be added with edible flowers such as dandelion (yellow), bee balm (red), cornflower (blue), etc.

We will also produce fresh-from-the-freezer fruit sorbets and ice pops (red berries, blue berries, grapefruit, etc.).

We will also make chocolate covered ice pops.

Our flavours to cool you off: lavender, blackcurrant, redcurrant, elderflower, rosemary, thyme, chocolate mint, acacia, lemongrass, basil, strawberry and basil, chamomile, grapefruit, violet, rose, blackberry, pineapple sage, etc.

All of our products are certified organically grown or ethically wild-harvested.

Get carefully selected and packaged loose-leaf herbal teas at Born to Be Wild’s. Herbal teas are made from dried plants that are vulnerable to air, light, humidity, and temperature. Use our glass jar and kraft paper bag to store away from direct heat and light.

All our organic plant-based sorbets and ice pops contain only natural ingredients, using no refined sugar, no artificial flavours or colours. They are vegan, gluten free, dairy free and allergy-friendly.

Born to Be Wild is nestled in Château Combrillac’s vineyards, located on the high hills overlooking the Dordogne river valley, in the heart of Périgord and approximately 2 miles from Bergerac City (France).

Born to Be Wild’s approach is perma-inspired, in other words we try to apply permaculture ethical principles to how we grow our plants.

We use eco-designed packaging. Kraft paper bags, sorbet bucket and shipping boxes are recyclable, as well as our ice pops wooden sticks.

Glass jars and aluminium capsules are recyclable and can easily be re-used.

And it’s an English name in a French world!

Born to Be Wild believes in « natural farming », the ecological farming approach developed by Masanobu Fukuoka, also known as « do-nothing farming », where human inputs are limited.

Born to Be Wild also refers to Mother Nature and how we are all anchored into the wild, no matter our lifestyle.

We are more than a simple farm. We believe in a certain way of life, inspired by nature.

Born to Be Wild stands at the crossroad between farming and the urban world, in line with today’s realities.

My name is Uyen. In another life, I had worked as a legal advisor on environmental issues in rainy Brussels. After 10 years as a lawyer, the idea of occupying fallow lands located on my husband’s family vineyards in Dordogne, France, gained ground. All I wish now is to create my own living environment and to pursue the safeguard of biodiversity in my own way.

In 2018, after a transition year, I will become a medicinal herb farmer and hand-picker.

All I need now is you to engage yourself into this great adventure! Because we are all Born to Be Wild!
