<p> <u><strong>How I am ?</strong></u></p> <p> Hello, my name is Ines, I have 38 years and am a single mother with three children of school age. I am Croatian, but I came to Spain 17 years ago and fell in love with Galician countryside from the beginning of my stay here I engaged in animal husbandry, particularly goats and horses. Today I own 50 meat breed goats mothers and I'm here because I want to start a project with dairy goats and ride a small artisanal cheese.</p> <p> You can see me and my farm in presentation video, minute 9:20.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img-20151126-wa0006-1448560159" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/255223/IMG-20151126-WA0006-1448560159.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>Where I am ?</strong></u></p> <p> We live in the City Council of Fonsagrada (Lugo, Galicia) in an old farmhouse that we are slowly rebuilding. It consists of a main building with several annexes and a small courtyard. I also have a bit of land surrounding the farmhouse where we have planted vegetables for home and other crops for the goats and other animals (two mares and a very nice pig called Chicha). Also with my goats I keep clean various fields of some of my neighbors.   The landscape and the structure of the area where we live are adapted to livestock native cattle. This does not match the typical hilly landscape of the goats because the native forest and the mountain are destroyed increasingly adapting to cattle with the creation of large pastures and the use of heavy machinery.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img-20151126-wa0014-1448732248" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/255766/IMG-20151126-WA0014-1448732248.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p>

<p> <u><strong>Why a cheese factory in Vilarfruxilde ?</strong></u></p> <p>  </p> <p> With my breeding and management by grazing goats and through the closing of land with electric fence, I would like the environment to recognize again the usefulness and value of this animal, which in this area almost does not exist, for the sustainable development of the Galician mountains. Goats kept clean mountains release inaccessible places to heavy machinery and at the same time they fertilize the ground. And all this is done in a clean, natural and quietly, neither pollution nor over-exploitation of the land.</p> <p> My animals are not fed with industrial feed and milk the goats suckle their mothers everything they want. Thus, these kids meat is also healthy and is of very good quality. Something that in this area there is no excessive use of industrial feed for fattening and early and premature weaning. It is also my intention not to be forgotten the delicious goat cheese and derivatives.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img-20151126-wa0013-1448647578" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/255561/IMG-20151126-WA0013-1448647578.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> Currently, livestock in Spain operates on grants with many requirements that are not available to many people, and this is specifically in my case. However, willingness to work and life experience to carry every day with a beautiful herd of goats are not lacking. Given all this, the main objective of this project is the introduction of about ten goats of pure dairy breed to my flock, to begin with, and the installation of a small artisanal cheese factory.</p> <p> The village has an old barn which by its orientation to the north is an ideal place to rehabilitate and cheese.
