Marc Socié est né à Paris en 1989.   Ces oeuvres tournent principalement autour du thème de la Chimère, de l'être composite inspiré de la morphologie dite classique aussi bien animale qu'humaine, sujet qu'il a approfondi sous forme écrite dans son mémoire.  Dans ses dessins, les créatures hybrides côtoient des objets familiers et créent des surprises visuelles, tantôt effrayantes, tantôt étranges.   L’univers de Marc Socié surprend l'esprit, les sens par un ou des caractères inhabituels, singuliers, extraordinaires. Cela donne toute leur force à ses oeuvres. Son travail est fin, épuré et précis, que se soit dans ses gravures ou ses dessins. Il s’inspire et réinterprète les formes tout en gardant une impression de mouvement, de vie dans son traité. Il nous transporte dans son dessin qui, par sa beauté, son étrangeté, a un caractère inexplicable, indéfinissable. Son attrait pour la littérature et la science permet un énigmatique mélange. Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncez que l'artiste SID fait partie des artistes de la gallerie.   Sidonie Koch, " Sid "de son nom d’artiste, est une jeune femme exubérante dont l’univers kitsch et coloré est un espace peuplé d’une infinité de personnages au voisinage improbable. Certains d’entre eux lui sont immédiatement inspirés par l’actualité politique la plus récente, d’autres sont directement issus des bandes dessinées ou extraits de coupures de presse, quand ils ne sont pas tout simplement découpés dans les magazines de mode les plus feuilletés des grandes capitales européennes. Réelles, imaginaires ou symboliques : toutes ces figures de papier cohabitent, communiquent et composent les unes avec les autres dans l’univers fantasque de l’artiste qui, à l’évidence, est la première à s’en amuser.   Glissés ça et là, slogans trafiqués, aphorismes spontanés, traits d’esprit ou d’humour inspirés soutiennent le montage d’images et enrichissent le décor animé d’une base spirituelle tantôt provocatrice, tantôt sarcastique, toujours ouverte sur l’équivocité créée par la rencontre des mots et l’assemblage des images.
