Les poteries du Covid-19

Making a stock of pottery during containment to keep these potters alive with their know-how.

The association Terre de Zagora was created in March 2016 to maintain the manufacture of pottery from the village of Zaouiet El Feggous at the gates of the Moroccan desert.

Currently, this family of potters is confined to their village. The 7 boys in the family have lost their jobs as gardeners in Casablanca and Marrakech and are left with no source of income. They are still passionate about pottery and are currently making a new stock, however in order to allow this family to live fully off their land, the association needs your help to respond to the urgency of the COVID-19 situation.

I invite you to pre-purchase the pottery that is stored with us in La Borie in the Dordogne.

You can pick them up as soon as the containment is over or there is a possibility to deliver depending on your location. There is an option to choose the pottery directly on site.

You can also donate. We'll be very grateful

Your donations and pre-orders are used to finance the manufacture of the new stock of pottery currently in the manufacturing yard in Zaouiet El Feggous, Zagora, Morocco.

The association undertakes the reselling of this stock to finance

• the purchase of a new plot within the palm grove,

• the construction of the well and the Château d'Eau,

• the installation of the solar pump,

• the development and maintenance of the crops.
