Projet danse au sein d'un Institut Médico-Educatif by mahealizee

Hello everyone, We need your help and support to back a dance project within a French Medico-Educational Institute (IME, Institut Médico-Educatif). Said project would take place during a whole scholar year. We are a group of 11 young people from 11 to 16, showing mild or moderate intellectual disability sometimes associated with pervasive development disorders including autism, supervised by 6 educators. <a name="_GoBack"></a> These young people have trouble sensing, perceiving their body. We have chosen to offer a dance project as a group, first of all because this medium seems to interest most of them and this no matter the level of their handicap. In addition to that, a lot of them are attracted to music. These young people experiencing difficulties communicating need mediation to help them to develop relationships. We believe that such an experience with all of the adults and youth of the group could only be beneficial. To do so and see this project through, we need the expertise and skills of an external worker.   That is why we are asking for your help and support today, to be able to start the project. The fund-raising will help paying the dancer who will intervene with the group twice a month for the next 9 months, as well as to book the auditorium for the show and to rent the audio equipment. We would like to raise 1200€ to pay the contributor who will intervene twice a month for an hour.  <ul> <li> Paid 50€ per hour, so 100€ per month x 9 months : 900€ </li> <li> Renting of the auditorium and audio gear: 200€  </li> </ul> We have also included the site’s commission, which leads us to a total of 1200€.
