We are students in Global BBA 1 at Emlyon Business School in Paris. We met and gathered around this ENAMEL project because of our common interest in humanitarian issues. We all have already experienced volunteering trips in different countries and today we want to launch our own project.<img width="100%" alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/486089/IMG_9654-1518363346.JPG" /></p><p><strong>Why this project ? </strong>Vietnam suffers from a serious problem of oral hygiene. Access to dental care is reserved for the wealthiest, and most dentists do not have access to the advanced European technologies. In rural areas, oral hygiene is almost non-existent. From Alexia&#39;s trip experience in Vietnam in 2014, some children in remote villages have never even seen a toothbrush and just rinse their mouth with water. The serious lack of oral hygiene is an important issue. Indeed, untreated abscesses and mouth wounds can lead to bad infections or septicaemia. A bad dental hygiene can cause serious problems in the digestive and heart systems.</p><p><img width="100%" alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/486090/Enfant-Vietnam-photo-de-Re_hahn-Croquevielle-1518363488.jpg" /></p><p><strong>The project :&nbsp;</strong>We intend to go on site with some volunteers and distribute toothbrushes, toothpastes and raise public awareness through prospectuses/leaflets (translated in Vietnamese). We need therefore to set up a fundraising plan to finance this project.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We have contacted a humanitarian association called &ldquo;SOURIRES DU MEKONG&rdquo; that organizes several projects in Vietnam. We proposed to join them and combine our efforts to succeed in our mission. They accepted to support us! With this partnership we are associated with an NGO.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are now organizing our trip and the itinerary of our stay. Departure is scheduled on March 2018. Our project team will leave and complete the mission with the volunteering project &ldquo;Help for childhood&rdquo; of the NGO &ldquo;SOURIRES DU MEKONG&rdquo;.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The fundraising and partnership plan is dedicated to ENAMEL project. However, should the raising be too &ldquo;generous&rdquo;, the remaining funds would be transferred to the SOURIRES DU MEKONG organization for their other projects, such as:</p><p>● Medical projects</p><p>● Children projects</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Days Mission program</p><p>March 20th - Arrival at Saigon - Departure by plane for Pleiku</p><p>March 21st - Bus (1h drive) to join Father Huong. He gathers in his parish villagers and children (minority people). - Distribution of toothbrushes/toothpastes/flyers kits, clothes, food, toys...</p><p>March 22nd - Meeting with the minority people in villages and KonTum - Distribution of toothbrushes/toothpastes/flyers kits, clothes, food, toys&hellip;</p><p>March 23rd - Departure by bus (2h drive) to Tay Ninh - Mission at the orphanage and the retirement home - Distribution of toothbrushes/toothpastes/flyers kits, clothes, food, toys...</p><p>March 24th-25th - Medical consultations 800-1000 persons in Tay Ninh - Return to Saigon (25th evening)</p><p>March 26th-27th - Mission to Kien Giang - Meeting with families living in the houses constructed by the former association project - Distribution of toothbrushes/toothpastes/flyers kits, clothes, food, toys&hellip; - Actions with local organizations - Visit to the abandoned babies</p><p>March 28th - Flight back to Paris</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
