Protection des fonds marins

<p> Passionate about diving since the age of 9, I 've done my job full-time for 20 years. Today Instructor Trainer, I dive all day and especially a passion for the protection of the seabed. I have often diving in marine parks, protected area and nature reserve. My project is to protect, develop the seabed of Las Terrenas. I'll explain why it's important to do that.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Img_0713-1461250472" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/307127/IMG_0713-1461250472.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <u><strong>Coral reefs</strong></u> are tropical ecosystems in shallow waters, which contain a wide variety of plants and animals.   The reefs provide protection for the islands and a paradise for naturalists and visitors. Unfortunately, coral reefs are severely affected by human activities and global warming. <u><strong>The Dominican Republic</strong></u> is no exception. The Samana Peninsula is considered a critical area by NGOs specialized in the monitoring of reefs worldwide,   To provide solutions to this problem, I decided to get involved in this conservation project, there are now 3 years old, I work on the education of children in schools in order to explain the urgency of project. I have already obtained very encouraging results by working with a marine biologist, but it requires a lot of money to carry it out. We have already completed phases of our project, and we expect with this fundraiser, cultivate corals and relocate them in the local sites. We will also develop hunting lionfish, scourge in all the Caribbean. This kind of scorpion came from the Pacific devours everything in its path: fish and shellfish ..... Nothing stops because it has no predators in this part of the globe. Located at the top of the food chain of the reef system, it does not directly attack the corals, but fish that clean the reef.
