Objectives of this space are to put in numbers (quantify) a part of behavior and life of bees in order to make student working on figures.

For example : from which humidity bees react and how do they react? What are the temperature variations within hive? Can we measure activity of bees following weight changes ? … All these data can be provided by one or more sensors fitted to the hive. These sensors provide : * The weight of the hive and the colony, * The temperature at the center of the hive, * Humidity at the center of the hive. We’ll be able to add datas from weather the nearest weather station (Besançon) like temperature and hydrometric values or our own data if we can afford our weather station. But where have this idea? When I started up my own apiary with two friends there 4 years, we were surprised to find that the Internet has no or little technical or scientific data on bees. Advice on apiary management remain very oral and most technical books offer little quality photographs or numerical values. Finally, it seems to me that a way to educate the generation that comes to the problems facing the bee is to better know this insect better understand better protection.
