Music, Recording, Clips
Our concept is working to preserve and maintain the practice of mixing vinyl
while producing talented drum'n'bass music makers and DJs.
Even if the number of drum'n'bass vinyl records is reducing and getting smaller and smaller, there still are a few British music labels that have chosen to support and produce artist that works with vinyls.
For example: RAM Records, Hospital Records, Shogun Audio, Metalheadz, Critical Music, Spearhead Records, Dispatch Recordings, 1985 Music, ...
Vinyl record is definitely more expensive, but it has a unique sound and brings a rich background of music culture and practice. We want to preserve and make available vinyl records for our generation and the next ones.
Our aim is to prevent vinyl records from disappearing because of a lack of fundings. We want to transfer this legacy to the future generations. We need your support! We are not really asking for charity but to help us with funding, an economical support, and receive in exchange a service and goods... It's more like a generous pre-sale.
Below is the sleeve's picture of the vinyl "front & back"
The first EP "Round One" will be three tracks:
Side A: The Caracal Project - Skippin'
Side B: Ad Loud - Quasar // Ad Loud - Heaven From Hell.
The particularity of our label's catalogue is to have a dark side, like Neurofunk, and more melodic one like liquid funk. The main idea for this label it is to be open and to welcome all the subgenres of drum'n'bass.
Unbeatable Music is a catalog of artists. It gathers music producer, DJs, singers, dancers, street artists, graphic designers, videographers, Vjs etc.
Our goal is to valorize and promote all those different artists, improving their artistic career and hopefully increase the international fame and popularity.
It will be achieved using different type of communication like music videos on YouTube channel, music tracks on SoundCloud, Facebook, Instagram, Website, T-shirts, Flyers, Posters and partnership with important organisations focused on drum'n'bass movement.
The idea is to have a big impact on media, to reach the international audience and market.
Who am I?
Ad Loud, drum'n'bass DJ since 2006. I'm from France (Rhône Alpes). I lived three years in Preston "Lancashire", England.
My activity in England: Music Teacher focusing on DJing "vinyl mix" and music production for 3 schools in Preston "Lancashire" (CSV, CWP, and Alison). For several years, I have worked as artistic manager for the Web Radio's channel : Loud on vmix.fm, focused on bass music.
In Preston I have organised few events and concerts, and also played for some crews like Bad Wax Audio, Bass Klinic, Spin City and Shotta TV. The drum'n'bass scene in this area is very strong especially in Manchester where Soulution at Band On The Wall (Marcus Intalex's night) is one of the most important regular event. I have played on the same stage where Ray Keith and Randall big jungle pioneers were performing.
My DJ sets are very wide, from old school to new school influences of every kind of drum'n'bass sub-genre and strictly vinyl.
This project is the logical continuation of my music career. The passion for that music gives me the energy to make my dreams come true. The aim is to continue the adventure, and save and rescue the vinyls records, to make them last and live as long as possible.
Félix Burnod (Music producer of Skippin' and Mixer of the EP "Round One").
Perfecting a groove infused vision of bass music that relies on a mixture of funky elements and futuristic sound work, The Caracal Project is currently operating inside the Drum & Bass scene, now signed to Neosignal, and tends to get influenced by the French Touch movement that exports itself internationally.
Lots of efforts are put into the production to deliver always the freshest ideas, executed with a high attention to detail. Eversince his first release « Fallin’ EP » in July 2018, the 20 years old producer Félix Burnod got the support some of the scenes biggest names including Phace & Misanthrop, Noisia or Ed Rush, spreading his sound across the most iconic places for the genre across the world.
Today we are proud to bring you The Caracal Project on vinyl for the first time, thanks to your support.
