Yumm'eat - Embrace the Taste

<p> </p><p>After having travelled across Europe for the sake of discovering – OK, and studying too – Yasmine and Marie met again in their « mother town », where their friendship started 7 years ago: in Brussels. The way forward was quite obvious… Yasmine, 'smarty pants', dusted an old family recipe; Marie, 'food freak', just loved it: “Yummyyyyyy”, she screamed! They had to handle a rough transition from comfy, well furnished, and warm offices to cold muddy foodstands at music festivals in Belgium, such as Couleur Café or Ronquières (yeah, Italy seemed suddenly so much better to Yasmine…). Though, they would not trade these epic and tough moments for the world… People’s reactions and encouragements were so amazing that it gave them strength to keep going on their adventures.</p><p> </p><p><img alt="Sans_titre__5_-1509723487" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/463585/Sans_titre__5_-1509723487.png"></p><p> </p><p>Let's get practical now... We promote a meat-free product, as an alternative meal, which is<strong> natural, protein- and iron loaded, and most importantly super yummy</strong>! Our product is <strong>targeted towards professionals (B2B) as well as final consumers</strong>. We currently provide a product in three different formats, yet we hope to broaden our range with <strong>brand new flavors “from across the world”</strong>!</p><p> </p><p>We choose to elaborate a frozen product, which has never been (pre-)cooked, mainly for those three reasons:</p><p>- To avoid any «nasty junk ingredients », such as conservatives, additives, etc.</p><p>- To get an awesome and unique texture when biting on it: both crunchy and soft, all at once!</p><p>- To offer both professionals and final consumers an easy way to manage their stocks, without any waste.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>According to the saying, an image is worth a thousand words. We want to know them as well as their stories, their passions, their requirements in terms of quality, … Thus, we mostly work with <strong>LOCAL</strong> and/or <strong>ORGANIC</strong> ingredients!</p><p> </p><p>On the practical side (some of you may have wondered), we work at Co-oking.</p><p><img alt="Sans_titre__4_-1509723645" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/463586/Sans_titre__4_-1509723645.png"></p><p> </p><p>It is a shared-space kitchen (meeting hygiene and legal requirements) that allows us to both produce by renting the space according to our needs and be legally allowed to sell our produced wonders (helloooooo).</p><p> </p><p>Since almost a year, we have become the « veggie ladies » for some big companies, such as <strong>Engie Electrabel</strong>, <strong>Ethias</strong>, or <strong>Greenkitchen</strong> as well as <strong>European schools</strong>. I beg you pardon? You already have your mouth drooling and travelling the world just by reading this? We feel the same! With this new range of products, we could scale up and be present abroad…until we reach the Final Goal: launching a veggie “fast food” chain (with vegan options) which would provide products adapted to every country or culture.</p>
