Helping on the ground

<p>Hi friends,</p><p>We are Ambre and David, two young professionals, who decided to be active&nbsp;in the refugee crisis.&nbsp;In August we will travel to Lesbos in Greece to do volunteer work for the charity, Movement On The Ground, where we will work in one of the refugee camps to help the refugees seeking safety. Even today, around 500 people manage to reach the coast of Lesbos every week, and this number shows no signs of going down any time soon.</p><p>We believe that all people should be helped when they are in need, and this is why we wanted to volunteer, fly over to Lesbos, and provide a helping hand to those in need.</p><p>We know not everyone is able to be there in person, but we do hope you share our philosophy and would like to help us in your own way.</p><p><strong>What is Movement On The Ground?</strong></p><p>The objects of the Foundation are to support victims of humanitarian crises, as well as all that is directly or indirectly connected therewith or may be conducive thereto, all to be interpreted in the broadest sense, if in the general interest.</p><p>The Foundation seeks to realize its objects inter alia by:<br />-&nbsp;Providing material and immaterial support to people in distress;<br />-&nbsp;Support of other initiatives;<br />-&nbsp;Protecting and contributing to local economies and environments.</p><p><strong>Who is Movement on the Ground?</strong><br />Movement on the Ground is a group of independent business people, creatives and companies who have been touched by the crisis on a personal level, and were called to action. Some were spurred on by the national debate in Holland about the effect of the crisis locally, others by the immediate response to the arrival of refugees at Amsterdam Central station, or experiencing the crisis first-hand in Lesbos. One of their team members is Johnny de Mol, a famous Dutch TV presenter and actor who has shifted his charitable efforts towards the crisis. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why do we want your help?</strong><br />Because want to help Movement On The Ground as much as possible. As we are only two people, we would really appreciate it if you could fund our campaign. We have already paid for our expenses, so all of the funds will go to the people who really need it.</p><p>Help us so our impact is as big as possible!
