Europe Tour was born from a simple desire of travelling and taking pictures; of discovering, sharing and escaping.
After my first exhibition "A chacun Sa photo" (literally : To Each His Own Photography) that took place in October 2015 near Angers in the Loire-Valley, a question stuck to my mind: “What next..?”
Now I present to you “Europe Tour”, travelling around the European capitals in 24 months at a rate of about one capital per month. The objective : photographing the most beautiful places of these cities and setting up an exhibition in 2019.
“Le vrai voyage c’est d’y aller” Hugo Verlomme. (“The real travel is going there.”)
Aim of the trips :
The aim of these travels is photographing new places to then organise an exhibition. This exhibition will take place after all the trips, sometime in 2019. Visitors will be able to admire the European capitals gathered in one place and to buy the photographies that they want. The organising of the exhibition will start during the summer of 2018.
Organisation of the trips :
Travelling to a foreign country once a month demands a lot of preparation and organisation. To make sure all the trips run smoothly, we buy the plane tickets and make the hotel reservations two months in advance (e.g: in August for a trip in October). Three to four months in advance, we start planning the roadmap, using guides and tourist office websites : activities to do, must-see sights, places to photograph, specialties to try, and any other particular information we may need to know about. In this way, we are well informed on the cities we are travelling to.
The first trip has already taken place in July, to Amsterdam. You will find below a calendar of the destinations! The fund raising lasting 40 days, the funds will pay for all the trips from September (Warsaw) except Paris as I already live there. If our objective is exceeded, the extra funds will finance the exhibition and the private viewing of this exhibition in 2019!

The photographer :
Graduating from the Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle (ESRA), (Graduate School of Audiovisual Creation in France) in 2010, I was able during my studies there, to learn and experience the fundamentals of photography and thus to make of this art a true passion.
For 7 years now, I practice and improve my art as a landscape photographer. When I moved to Paris in January 2016, my artistic direction developed towards urban landscapes.
“If there is no emotion, if there is no impact, if you do not react to the sensitivity, you should not take the photograph. It’s the photograph that takes you.” - Henri Cartier Bresson
I often use this quote from Henri Cartier Bresson to define myself. Indeed, I believe above all else that art is made to be shared and that it must share emotion. I believe that in order to share emotions, you need to be touched by what you do and what you photograph. My objective is to use the best of my creativity and my imagination to give a moment of happiness to those who surround me.
