Ash Of Turtles
My name is Leslie Salmon. I'm about to be 23 and during the last 3 years, I've been traveling, discovering the World, opening my mind to way lots more I would have ever imagine. As I did, I thought it was such a shame to see so much of us going out of High school with no idea of who we were and consequently, what we wanted. We were just following blindly the rails of the society...
So I decided to settle in France for a while, and launch an association. I named it Ash Of Turtles to refer to the ashes of the Phoenix - Using the Turtles as the animal to refer to the Youth. Very important but we don't focus that much on it... Turtles are slow but keep on walking and therefore, can overcome any mountain.
That's how the Association - Ash Of Turtles - came to life with the following main aims :
- To help the youth to realise how much possibilities & opportunities they have in the world today and for their future, and the ones they can create for themselves.
- To help to youth empower themselves and raise their self confidence through workshops, events, and European mobilities with Erasmus Plus Projects such as Youth Exchanges & Training Courses.
- Help the youth to feel free to use & develop their creativity.
This is why we need you to help us! :)
À quoi servira la collecte
The Association needs funds to finance the material to realise the video clip we would like the youngsters to sing on, defending the Human Rights.
We would like to lead workshops in the city of Marseille, using various material for them to let their creativity go and growth.
For the mobility aim, we would need to have funds to make it more affordable for the youngsters to apply to the projects we would propose abroad. Indeed as we are trying to target as well disadvantages people, we try to reduce the participation fees.
Some people will be working on writing Erasmus Plus Projects to depose and need remuneration for their hard involvement and researches to find the most interesting experiences possible for the youngsters.
And finally, we would like to rent a local to be able to have a structure where the youngsters could meet, be at ease, & ask questions to be either informed, either redirected, without any judgment or fears.
We have settled the goal at 1000 euros to begin and increase our chances to reach it by the end of the 60 days. Though, the more money we would reach, the faster and bigger our projects and event will be organized, well led, and disseminated!
