Récolte de fonds pour une mission humanitaire en Colombie - BDH EM STRASBOURG

In partnership with LifeTime Project and Viv’act, 15 students from the Business School EM Strasbourg will go to Colombia in June 2020 in Rincon Del Mar. The project is to help the village, to strengthen family and social ties, to help the children in their school successs, by promoting artistic culture's richness and exchanges.

The population doesn’t live with great comfort : current power cuts, inaccessible drinking water and very weak access to education. However life in Rincon Del Mar remains peaceful and the inhabitants are happy.

We will animate beneficial workshops for the children and raise awareness among the values that we defend. By interacting with them we will able to create and propose new activities such as : give French lessons or helping the village in their daily tasks.

Here is a video which sums up the aim of our humanitarian mission.

The direction of the association

Ilona Boudouaz: President,

Yves Munoz: Community Manager,

Camille Shultz: Treasurer,

Lydia Di Donato: Funding,

Inès Carussi: Secretary.

However, we are more than 80 persons involved in the association this year!

We have several methods to finance our project in Colombia :

- we organize breakfasts in the school each Monday.

- the financing group who deals with the cold calling of companies, to collect financial donations.

- different missions (gift wrap, sale of chocolates .. etc)

- and of course this Crowdfunding campaign that we hope will succeed!

We also participate in other types of missions such as the Abribus mission, helping this latter to prepare food for the homeless people in the city of Strasbourg.

The humanitarian association of EM Strasbourg will collect the entire fund-raising!

We need this money to reduce the financial cost of the humanitarian mission. Indeed this latter amounts to 30000€ (2000€ per person), which represents a real budget for the school’s students and cannot participate with their own money.

The price of the humanitarian mission includes the service proposed by our partner LifeTime Project and the price of airplane tickets.

We have already collected almost 5000€ thanks to our several missions. Moreover we have launched a grant file with our business school, EM Strasbourg, whichs allows us, we hope almost 12 000 euros.

Depending on the amounts raised by the financing group (solicitation of companies), we will have several possibilities in case we exceed the sum of 3500 euros:

- The surplus will contribute to the direct financing of the mission, intercultural exchanges in order to reach the final sum of 30,000 euros.

- If we reach 30,000 euros and more, we plan to use the surplus for the support of migrants from Strasbourg. By helping them with administrative papers or giving them language classes (French / English), we could develop a new branch of activity for our association.

We are counting on you to support us on this project which is really important to us
