Support a photojournalism on bonsai and traditional Japanese culture. A walk in the heart of the trees and on tatami mats.

The project

Support my fundraising and receive: prints numbered Photos, a photo book, a calendar, a DVD, and maybe a plane ticket to see the bonsai in Japan and my current camera gear. Why not all of this goodies!

All photographs will be taken during the report in 2014, where I will visit: Fujikawa Kouka-en, Tanibata's nursery exhibition, the Takamatsu Bonsai Convention, nurseries in Kinashi Kokubunji, Omiya nurseries and Museum, nurseries in Angyo, master Kawabe, Kobayashi museum, the shuga-ten and more.

The bonsai globetrotter in Japan since 2011:

Bonsai globetrotter in Japan since 2011, I try to always share with you my experiences. Whether through my blog, my YouTube videos or my shares on social networks. I like to introduce you to the traditional Japanese bonsai you certainly do not see otherwise.

Like most bonsai enthusiasts in France you need to know for several months now I will return to Japan to bring you even more happiness by proxy.

I would like to bring a new dimension to this experience compared to previous and bring you more and more quality content. But the quality at a cost, especially in photography. That is why I propose to participate and receive exclusive compensation. I hope that they will awaken your interest but before that I will explain in detail what this collect will serve.

In 2014 I offer you even more:

I would like to take the opportunity given to me to bring you pictures, but not just to watch on your computer screen. I wish I could take pictures of very good quality for you to make prints, calendar and photo book.

I would also offer a chance for one of you to discover bonsai in Japan by offering a flight gone/return ticket.

Why fund it?

Everything is ready for a beautiful photojournalism; travel and all costs are already funded and everything is organized. It only remains to fund some extra dream.

To achieve this we must overcome the first € 9,500, which will acquire at least:

- A digital camera EOS 5D mark III,

- A lens EF 24-70mm f / 2.8L II USM

- A MANFROTTO tripod

- And funding counterparties, including airfare.

A second step to € 16,500 will allow the purchase of three additional lenses. These allow specific photos: a wide angle for wide views highlighting the atmosphere of places, a macro lens to take pictures of tiny details, a telephoto lens to capture moments on the fly without interfering with the scene .

And a third and final step to € 16,730 which will allow me to replace my office chair on which I spend a lot of time to share all this with you. His level of wear and tear can attest to my commitment.

All funds raised beyond will serve to improve the experience that I can bring to you.
