Allfather le nouveau livre de Sébastien Van Malleghem

English Below Chers vous tous, J'ai quasiment terminé tout les envois des livres Allfather avec frais de ports en Belgique et à l'étranger. Il me reste donc ceux qui ont commandés un grand tirage et / ou remise en main propre du livre. Je peux donc vous annoncer quelques nouvelles à noter dans votre agenda. - Je donne une conférence de 45min ce jeudi 26 aout à Anvers Photo (siège à reserver ici) en anglais. - Une signature se tiendra à le 25 septembre à Polka factory à Paris - Ainsi que quelques jours plus tard à Bruxelles dans une librairie de beaux livres (26/27 septembre). - Une premiere exposition aura quand à elle lieu à Courtrai à la galerie Fragma, mi-octobre. Dans le cas ou vous n êtes pas disponible à ces moments la, prévenez moi via mail ou Whatsapp, on s'arrangera pour se croiser. - Si vous venez récupérer votre ouvrage à l'un de ces évènements, faites moi signe aussi, afin que je puisse le prévoir. I still have the ones who ordered a large print and/or hand delivery of the book. So I can announce you some news to note in your agenda. - I'm giving a lecture this Thursday 26 at Antwerp Photo (seat to be reserved here) - A signing session will take place on September 25 at Polka in Paris - A few days later in Brussels in a fine art books shop (around 26/27 Sept). - A first exhibition will take place in Kortrijk at the Fragma gallery, mid October. In case you are not available at these moments, please let me know via mail or phone / Whatsapp/ Messenger and so on we will arrange to meet. - If you come to pick up your book at one of these events, let me know too, so I can plan it. Dear all of you, As some of you have already noticed, there is a poster offered as a gift in addition to your book in your package :) This poster is based on one of my pictures, the design was made by Gert Verbelen and the 3D animation and augmented reality was done by François de Montremy (AKA Fraw) To use the poster in the right way, hang it in a place you like, then open the Instagram app and its "story" mode with the camera. Choose the effect "Allfather" you will recognize the icon, and point your camera to the poster... Surprise! A frame with an animation appears in augmented reality. This little gift that seems so simple took us a lot of time and work. But we wanted to explore new ways, as well as give you a little surprise. We hope you like it! Dear friends, family, supporters, It is with joy that I received the delivery truck and all the pallets containing the boxes of books on August 05; the time to manage the handling and storage and I was already sending the first books across Belgium on August 09. Today, August 10th, I started sending more books to Belgium, then France, Switzerland, England and the Netherlands. Tomorrow I'll finish sending the signed books and I'll start the signed books with prints. It would be great if you could take a picture of the book when you receive it and then post it on your social networks with a tag. This will help the project, and me at the same time :) Thanks again, and I hope to see you soon, Seb PS: I'll be interviewed about "Allfather" for Antwerpphoto in a couple of days, and books will be avaible on the photofestival site in + of my own webshop (www.renegades-agency.com). A signing in Paris is planned at the end of September in an important place for photography (surprise surprise), and straight after in Brussels at Tipi Bookshop.

A few days ago my lab sent me the photo prints that are the counterpart of the crowdfunding. What a pleasure to see them! I went a (little) over budget, but I preferred to offer quality. Look how beautiful they are! The minis are 13X8,6 cm Hahnemuhle prints The medium ones are 13X18 cm prints on Ilford B/W inkjet paper The large ones are 45X30 cm prints on baryta paper. Hello everyone, I'm back from the photographic festival in Arles, where I presented the book (I received two hand-bound copies by Die Keure for promotional purposes). The feedback has been extremely positive, and announces new projects and new publications. I just found out that the printer is running very late, and I will receive the 1500 copies on August 18th at my house. I will do my very best to prepare the packages and mail them to you as soon as possible. Book signing will be organized around end of September in Brussels and Paris. Thanks again and see you soon. Dear supporters, friends, and followers, This is not directly related to "Allfather" the book, but to my work and a reward of the crowdfunding. My recent reportage inside the Mexican Morgues published on TIME is one of the 11 "Lauréat" of the National Open photography Award, organised by the Photography Museum in Charleroi, Belgium. The exhibtion is showcasing a portfolio of baryta prints of my reportage and it is visible at the Museum until the 19th September. All my best and thank you again, Sébastien
