Here are the latest positions of the dice. Today we only got one reading. I have no idea what has happened to the "Commander" die but "Master" is on a course of about 250º at 1.75 knots.</p>

I have alerted Notice to Mariners, AIS, and Noonsite as to the posotion of the dice so that they can alert sailors in the vicinity.</p>

So , what's new?</p>

Well, according to the wind charts this next wednesday is looking very good for a launch. I have my chase boat lined up, my wetsuit ready and my camera is charged. I copied out Rimbaud's The Drunken Ship in two parts on seperate sheets of paper. Each die will carry one half of the poem. Will these halves ever be joined?</p>

I tried to copy out Mallarme's poem A Throw Of The Dice but I can't get an exact version of the order of the words. What is more the text is supposed to be on a double page and the layout is a part of the meaning so . . . Mallarme's words will stay at home. However we will launch with him in mind.</p>

The GPS seem to be working which is a relief. For a while there I was getting ready to put either some voodoo dolls, herbs or whale's entrails in the gyroscope. . . . I'll do that next time. I promise.</p>

Tomorrow I will finish cooking my Aqua Dice soufflés with their GPS surprises and then install them in the holds of the dice on Tuesday. What does that mean? It means that I am installing the GPS in the gyroscopes with the expanding foam. The foam holds the devices in the middle of their rings.</p>

SPOT Bombs: For those of you wondering why I didn't just buy some GPS units down here in Las Palmas here is your answer. These babies were modified by the brilliant Philippe Letenneur in Granville France. They will turn themselves on once a</p>

day and tell us where the dice are before they turn themselves off again and sleep for 24 hours.<br />
They successfully transmitted today and after another test tomorrow I will install them in their gyroscope with expanding foam. <br />
