Autómata - First album!
<p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/automatafrenchband/" target="_blank"><em>Autómata</em></a> is a new musical endeavour built from the ashes <a href="https://lovelygirlsareblind.bandcamp.com/" target="_blank"><em>Lovely Girls are Blind</em></a>, a Paris-based instrumental rock band (2005-2018).</p>
<p>For 2020 we aim to release our first album, made from songs written in 2018 and 2019.</p>
<p><strong>This fundraiser is to finance the production of this album, created professionally.</strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>Though the name has changed, the music we make (François, Jean-Baptiste, Etienne & David) with <em>Autómata</em> keeps the same spirit: instrumental only, dark, sometimes soft, at times heavier, always airy, melodic and poetic.</p>

<p>We're not professional musicians and don't have a label backing us. That's why we reach out to you today, to help us finalize this project.</p>

<p>Reaching our fundraising target (1500€) would mean a lot to us: that some people out there have faith in our project; that the DIY approach we dearly sticked to in the past should be left behind, so that from now on we can, thanks to you, make this project happen in a professional setup.</p>

<p>And, last, that we get better access to a wider audience and coverage. When time for live music comes back, maybe that will open the opportunity to deliver live shows under great conditions.</p>

<p>Our expectation from this campaign is that we can<strong> partly pay for the creation of this album</strong>, which will be produced in Herblay (Val d'Oise, near Paris) by Vincent and Donatien, at the Studio de la Tour Fine and Studio Labosonique.</p>
<p>Financing this project can be broken down as:</p>
<p>-<strong> Studio</strong> recording and mixing: 2 000 €</p>
<p>- <strong>Mastering</strong>: 370 €</p>
<p>- <strong>Manufacturing </strong>(100 units - CD): 220€</p>
<p>- KissKissBankBank commission (8%)</p>
<p>The band put together 1 000 € to kickstart the project for the recording.</p>
<p>Should we raise more than our target, <strong>the extra money will fund our association CIMUNE </strong>(non-profit 1901 law association), which will help us <strong>realize our future projects</strong> - first in line being the <strong>recording of the new songs</strong> we're <strong>currently working on</strong>.</p>
