It was also a good way to change my analyse about how we are listening to electronic music</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Axlotls2-1479809795" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/370908/axlotls2-1479809795.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Electronic music ≠ Dance Music</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> For many people, Electro is to be listen at night while dancing, in a club, from 15 years old until 30 years old.</p> <p> Well I am not trying to do anything against that, I think it is great but what I try to do with my music, is to involve the listener as a more active part of th whole exeprience, a bit like the classical music in a way:</p> <p> A nice track is not enough, it has to be meaningful, it needs to have a message in it, be it a question or a story or whatever, it has to tell something. And it doesn't mean you need a special education to achieve that, believe me, after all the films you've seen, all the music you listened to, you already understand music, even if you don't realise it!</p> <p> Just give it a try, listen to what the music tries to explain.</p> <p> That is the reason why I call the music I'm composing <strong>Narrative Electronica</strong>, it has some story to tell.</p> <p> It is not even new, it is just a reminder.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Pavero?</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> This is the name of the EP as well as of one of the tracks.</p> <p> It is a fusion of the names Pavane and Bolero, a double reference to french composers <strong>Gabriel Fauré</strong> and <strong>Maurice Ravel</strong>, a huge and obvious influence in my work since ages.</p> <p> But they are not the only one of course, in this EP, you will meet a bit of Mars Volta, Sirusmo, Dajngo Reinhardt, James Holden, Modeselektor and many more that I uncousciously incorporated.</p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p>
