Bridges to Prosperity - Kapkwombola Uganda 2019

<p><strong>Project:</strong></p> <p>For this new year 2019, Freyssinet in partnership with T-Ingenierie&nbsp;joined the builder circle of Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) for building a new Suspended Bridge over the Cheptweyi River in Uganda.</p> <p>The residents of the Kurumbono community are Young farmers who grow maize and beans. Over 690 community members&nbsp;will be directly affected by the construction of a FootBridge.</p> <p>During four months of the year, the Cheptweyi River is too dangerous to cross due to flooding. Because of the site topography, residents are trapped by high cliffs above and below, and they have to wait for the water go down. In fact, access is blocked to the market, health centers, and schools.
