Dharma Imagery Project

Greetings dear Dharma friends, I have exceptional news, my film KUDUNG is now complete and ready to share with the world! Very exciting, I am sure many of you have been waiting for this a long time. The wait is finally over, I know I am very late but when you see the film I think you will understand why. It is much bigger than anticipated, it's now a full length feature film, 1hr 15 minutes, and it's more vast and reaching than I ever dreamed of. I can't wait for you all to see it. I am eternally grateful to you, who helped to make this happen with your support and donations. In fact, every single one of you is mentioned in the credits at the end of the film! We had our first public screening last week in KIBI in Delhi, a sneak peek of what is to come for everyone. There was more than 700 people in attendance, and everyone seemed to really love it which of course makes me very very happy. Here is the plan going forwards: At this moment I am sending the film to a great many Dharma centers around the world, and they will be organizing their own private screenings in the near future. I have also submitted the film to numerous international film festivals, and we have some possibilties of showing it in theatres in Europe. Those are all private functions, so you can check to see if your nearest center will be making a screening that you can join. Otherwise the film will be available to the public in a few months, I will be letting you know when and how you can see it then. Of course for those whose donation includes a DVD will be getting one, but that will take a bit of time, so I will make a link for your viewing available so you can see it before everyone else does. Greetings dear Dharma friends, I hope this update finds you well, in good health and surving the pandemic with your family and loved ones safe. Needless to say the last two years have thrown us all for a loop, and everything has been postponed, pushed aside, or cancelled. I wanted to take the time to share with you all some great news about this project, and at the same time apologize for the delay. Though inevitable and out of my control, I apologize nonetheless. I just spent a week in France, working with Gendun Rinchen, and it was my first time back to Dharma work. It was a thrilling and wonderful experience, I cannot tell you all the details, but I am happy to say that the camera you all bought me played a huge role. Rinpoche is so pleased with the results, and we will be able to share with you all early next year. Thank you so much again for helping to purchase this camera, it has proved invaluable and absolutely necessary for my Dharma work. I was also finally able to film the final Kudung film interview with Trinlay Rinpoche, and it went very well. We had to eschedule and move it around so many time, the original timeline has been destroyed, but now we are back on track and the film will certainly be released on-time for Shamar Rinpoche's parinirvana in June of next year at the latest. So this is very exciting! I thank you all so much for your help, your support, and your patience most of all during this time of transition and delay.
