Het project van A tot Z
What the hell is Double Pigeon Productions?
It’s a team of 2 producers (Alice Bloch-Robin and Ulysse de Wilde) and 3 directors (Datis Balaï, Leo Gotainer and Florian Ronget).
We have two main goals: to produce and direct films 100% made by Double Pigeon, as well as allowing new and inexperienced but talented filmmakers to realize their projects with our help.
Whether you need a film crew, or if you are a new scriptwriter or a director looking for funding or a simple advice, Double Pigeon will be there for you.
Our projects and activities:
Double Pigeon has currently two ambitious projects going on : a top secret documentary about the rapper-graffiti artist-graphic designer Grems, (for more information, click here) and a music video for Neue Grafik's tune "Glasgow" (to be released this summer) in collaboration with the photographer Fabian Oefner.

Along with its producing activities, Double Pigeon is setting foot on the path towards new adventures: a brand new social networking unit.
It's for that new structure that we are asking for your help today (please see the division below "Why fund it?" for more info on those two projects).

Who are we?
We are five birds in love with cinema, raised and grain-fed in Paris. Our three creative persons are autodidacts, and made their own way through the video world, just as our two producers, who were trained on the field. From on the top of our twenties, we have worked and grown around strong figures of music and films.

Hier dient het geld voor...
The funds gathered will be used to launch and stabilize our social networking unit, completely dedicated to young or inexperienced filmmakers through the publication of a magazine and a series of themed events. They will aim at giving each one the keys to the French film production industry and allow you to meet with future partners, producers or distributors.
Double Pigeon Web
Launching of an online magazine:
This free magazine is dedicated to the young professionals. A CNC explanatory guide will be issued. Festival deadlines will be underlined. The industry’s contests will be announced. We will issue pedagogical videos concerning producing, and show some producing guidelines. Other special goodies will be issued, all of them, enabling you to launch your own project.
A job finder:
We aim at creating connections between the industry’s young professionals. It was proven hard for some to organize shootings, castings and so on. No more. Members will be able to find qualified and available fellow filmmakers, through recommendation processes on our job finder. Easy, beautiful, crystal clear.
Double Pigeon Association:
A series of events:
Conference cycles organized for small audiences (40 people at most) in order for the attendants to meet more experienced professionals. The cycles will be focused on news topics, such as Video on Demand, the impact of the Internet on the movie producing business, product placement, or even application forms for festivals.
For special interest, please contact us on: firstname.lastname@example.org
We will also be organizing parties in a casual atmosphere, still for small audiences, in order to exchange ideas on current projects between young filmmakers. Once again, a one-headed pigeon is OK, but it’s not as cool as a double-headed one!
A New Filmmakers Festival
A two days festival hosted in Paris will be selecting ten “first film” projects over two programs:
A script selection
The crew will pitch the selected projects to potential partners (producers, distributers etc.) and will provide pieces of advice for the production process to move forward.
- A selection of films at the postproduction stage:
The crew will advise the directors on the marketing, the distribution and the festivals strategy. Specialists will come into play, providing help for the next stages and helping during the financial struggle that is postproduction.
You are thus here presented with the opportunity to hatch the Double Pigeon egg.
Because we want to restructure the multimedia world with our two-headed pigeon. Because a pigeon doesn’t have a belly button, we would like you to grow with us. Because we have already made room for you in the nest. Because we need a warm pigeon family to evolve. Because we need the best seeds to drop the best movies!
