Festival de Mai

Hello everyone !

Projet Cluster is proud to announce : the second edition of the Festival de MAI will be held in Nice (06) France, May 7 to 10, 2014.

Since its inception in 2012, the « Festival de MAI » offers a program focused exclusively on improvised contemporary music.

However, it does not purport to be complete in this area, but follows a constellation of musicians and artists who put boldness and experimentation at the heart of their practice.

Resolutely DIY , le Projet Cluster, is part of an international movement of activists and artists.

Free metal, noise, drone, electroacoustic, punk, experimental … The « Festival de MAI » is moving towards music that makes improvisation a radical moment where the present is highlighted, and where innovation, risk taking and transgression make us consider a non consumerist approach to music. All the informations here about the last edition.

Again, four locations for four days of experimental improvised music with this year jazz core, harsh noise , sound poetry, and other festivities !

Faithful to its principles , the festival de MAI remains independent , self-financed and diy ! The first edition has been possible thanks to the support it received .

For this reason, we will launch mid-December a crowdfunding call .

We need your support and your help in any manner whatsoever: donations , communication, link exchanges, information sharing , etc ...

For the latest info on the « festival de MAI », you can join us on facebook… or through the festival de mai’s website.

Waar dient de collecte voor

Since its inception in 2012, the festival in May is completely self-financed. It receives no subsidy. For its second edition, we appeal to your generosity to balance the budget, primarily designed to accept and pay the ten bands playing at the festival, from the four corners of Europe.
