Gemini, First Album !

Présentation :

Hi everyone  ! 

Family, family's friends, friends, friends of my friends, KissBankers !

I'm a musician and songwritter for ten years now and I decided to give it a shot under the name of  

GEM!Ni (Gemini) !

I'm a singer/guitar player, i'm 26, from Avignon ( France ) and I need you through crowdfunding in order to record my very first 10 tracks album called Ballad Along The Black Sand.

It took me six years to compose it and that'll be thanks to your help if crowdfunding is successfull.

The cover will be designed by Laurent Borie from the agency "Anonymes".

He made covers of Gotan Project, La Fonky Family ("Si dieu veut"), ou encore Patricia Kaas.

Created in 2016, my music is a melancholic mix of influences like Indie Rock, Rock Alternatif, Pop, Folk. The topics in my writting play with the duality of Gemini people and with the difficulty of the perpetual internal fight. I write in english and sometimes in french.

Band influences : The Beatles, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Steven Wilson, Marylin Manson, Moby, The Raconteurs, General Electriks,  ...

I took guitare lessons in Avignon, then in London at Tech Music School BIMM (Radiohead, James Bay, Yodélice,...), the Brit Pop/Rock pushed me in finding my own style.

Working aside in catering (ex-waiter, bartender then chef), I couldn't find the time for my music. 

Today, i'm fully involved into my art and I hope you'll help in my reconversion !

Project :

GEM!Ni has only one member today but he's building up a band and he will call a drumer and a bass-player (Quentin Gautier) for live and studio.

My recordings are"homemade", and I do apologize for the quality of my mixs

And that's exactly why I need to record my songs professionaly at the studio La Buissonne in Pernes les Fontaines with Gérard De Haro's skills (more than 1300 albums).

This studio is internationaly  famous for his sound quality (rare mics, analog mix table, ...).

Made for jazzmen, a promess of a warm and floating sound !
