La Graffiterie

La Graffiterie is a virtual meeting place between inhabitants possessing grey walls and inhabitants who want to color them. 







It's aim is to give anyone the possibility to color the neighbourhood walls, to meet neighbours for a better life atmosphere. 









La Graffiterie has a very simple structure : two columns for two type of profiles. Once our profile is created, we look to the other column's people to launch a collaboration.








a) Post a picture of your wall, followed by a brief text explaining the type of visual you look for, and a prefered color range. 


b) Find in the opposite column visuals that fits your attempts, and ask them for a photomontage.


c) Meet the person if you liked the photomontage .








a) Look into the grey wall column for spaces that you'd like to color. Print the picture and draw what you imagine would be great on it, according to the owners' descrptions. 


b) Post the photomontage on the profile of the wall.


c) Meet the person if the photomontage is accepted.








Collaboration is made possible using photomontage as a visual support for discussion.  They show a drawing in the context of the wall.





The internet platform is designed to enable confidence between users through a clear meeting process, like the couchsurfing network which allows you to sleep in stranger's couch for one night. 





Graffiteurs will be able to fund projects they like, to share them, vote for they favorite. We could also imagine exchanges between regions of the world, as an alternative touristic experience.




We want to show that everyone is capable of spectaculary things, and demonstrate it by making it possible. The Graffiterie is a fonctional tool willing to repare forgotten urban areas, to transform habitation zone into life places.









Guiding a friend who comes for lunch thanks to the color of the environing buildings. Imagine finding yourself face to face with a sculpted creature coming out of an habitation,  turn round and see this twisted dragon, big as a building wind around it. Imagine an permanent exhibition always renewed at a city scale.

Waar dient de collecte voor

In order to finance the developpement of a functional website as soon as possible, the  technical specification list is cut into parts. The parts are as many steps to a finished website and needs to be flexible to further modifications.




Step 01 : Main page and profile pages = 1000€


Header (fixed) :

Tittle, catch phrase, connexion menu (identifications, link to register page) and five buttons : "How does it works?", ' What is it?" , "Tools", "Color mission" and "Realisations".


Main page :

Two columns : " Wall seeks colors" and "Color seeks wall". Each columns is constituted with images of walls in a side and drawings in the other side. Images inside a column are placed in a random order. Each image is a link to the autor's profile.


Wall profile:

Column 1 : Picture of the person, informations. Text telling what kind of color/shape the person is wanting to have on it. Picture of the wall (maximum two per wall). Column 2 : All the summited photomontages for this wall with the link of the autors' profiles. All the realisations are added by the wall's profile. 


Graffiteur's profile : 

Column 1 : Picture of the person, informations, galerie. Images from the galerie display chronologically, but the first one is always the picture thats represent the profile on the main page. Column 2 : All the photomontages and realisations done by this profile with the link to the profiles that cooperated.


Register page : 

Form to fill with email address, name, profile picture, picture of the person, few questions, security code. When registered, a profile page is created : for exemple. Possibility to access your profile page and to edit informations, add  and remove pictures.


Uploading images form :

-The kind of image : profile picture, picture of the real person, grey wall, photomontage, realisation. Autors : profiles that did it.

-The recepient : a photomontage and a realisation are always linked to a grey wall. 




Step 02 : Basic functions = 500€ 


Header (fixed) :

Nothing changes.  


Main page :

- Main pages per region :" displaying only the profiles from the region.

- Adding a filter : search entry in the top of every column. Profiles classified with tags.


Profile pages :

- Tags on profiles : #stencil #brush #abstract #psychedelic #animals. They fit to the kind of visual you produce / you seek.

- Adding an "experience feedback" form.

- Variables for verified profile = true / false.

- Adding the color you seek with a little color chart. 


Register page : 

- Adding a profile location.  


Uploading realisation :

-Add a "experience feedback" form. The feedback are first given by the wall's profile but remain invisible until the graffiteur's profile completed the form too.


Security : 

- Adding a "profile verification" button hidden somewhere, visibile only from a non-verified profile.

- For each region, an admin who can delete account, ban email addresses.

- Some information (email/postal address) only display for verified profiles.       




Step 03 : Complete website = 1500€


Header (fixed) :

Nothing changes.


Main page:

- Adding suggestion : "you might like this profile".

- Adding information to the photomontages : waiting to be accepted, accepted. Each accepted photomontage is linked to its crowdfunding campain.


Profile pages :

- Inbox : minimalist, forwarded to the registered email address.

- Discution groups : like a forum, in the "tools" menu.

- A list of person with who you collaborated.

- A list of realisation we like.

- Evolutive medals : display when you complete important steps in the community. "One project done", "One backup done"

- Mini-maps : "action area" of the profile, also usefull in "tools" for material lending.  


Register page : 

Nothing changes.  


Realisations page:

- You can like a realisation.

- Some project are put in the top : the one the most people like, the one the staff like.


Security : 

- Secure payement for crowfunding campains.

- Generating security codes like  "EF54K12" for eventually enjoy reduction at some partners suppliers.


You need to know : The team is really working hard! Lot of the costs are not covered even if we succed this campain 100% So let's complete 200% !!
