Les Jardins du Fleuve

<p> <strong><em>Les Jardins du Fleuve</em> </strong>is an artistic project of the theatre company <a href="http://www.theatredeschemins.org/" target="_blank">Théâtre des Chemins</a><strong><em>, </em></strong>which has chosen the River Loire as its route for the coming 3 years. The first part of this three-year project will take place from the <strong>10th till 20th July 2013</strong>.</p> <p>  </p> <p> We choose to take time before time takes us, to walk on foot and meet the people living along the banks of the Loire, to have some good time because we are convinced that the rhythm of walking, the air we breathe, the encounters we make on our way...enrich our creative works.<strong> We invite you to share this experience following us from far or close (walking in the company of our friends, the donkeys), starting at the spring of the river, near the emblematic </strong><a href="http://www.ardeche.com/sites-naturels/mont-gerbier-de-jonc.php" target="_blank">Mont Gerbier des Joncs in Ardèche</a><strong>.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> Along its route, the Company collaborates with local associations and municipalities situated along the Loire, giving workshops, presenting its performances in the gardens, under its Yourte, in the village halls, or in the cultural centres.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This project is built around two topics: <strong><em>the garden</em></strong> and<strong><em> the water</em></strong>, two elements interlinked with one another.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Chemins" height="425" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/23456/chemins.jpg" width="382"></p> <p>  </p> <p> The project <strong><em>Les Jardins du Fleuve </em></strong>has the objective to reach out to the local people who live along the Loire River and to assemble a variety of public: those passionate about the art of storytelling while walking along paths and discovering beautiful natural places, music lovers keen to dance, admirers of patrimonial and natural sites (castles, gardens, rivers…), hikers…</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Les Jardins du Fleuve is built around two performances of the company:</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <em><strong>Murmure.</strong></em> Poetry, story telling and musical walks along the banks of the Loire. The interpretation of each artist whether comedian, poet, musician, storyteller or circus performer, is intrinsically linked with these natural spaces in which the performance is unwinding.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Julie_flute" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/23485/julie_flute.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <em><strong>Tous les chemins mènent au jardin (All roads lead to the garden)</strong></em>, a piece, which is performed in the gardens, the spaces where we exchange and share. Once the evening comes, the Company presents <em>Tous les chemins mènent au jardin</em> in the garden or in its Yourte (in case of rain). Tales of wisdom and crazy melodies of the season.  These tales love to be told in the open among the plants and trees. The musician, a real Gardener of Sound, cultivates noises and rhythms, sounds and melodies. A good occasion to learn how to imitate birds’ sounds, how to make musical instruments, flutes and percussions…all from reed, bamboo or just the vegetables around you.
