We made it! It's official - Miss Amüsgöll is getting released! Released on CD that is.

YES, the guy with a beanie hat and a fisherman's beard has told me, "It's all about vinyl right now, or at the very least mp3".

But what could be better than having a beautiful CD in your collection, like a high quality coffee table book to leaf through, or in this case listen to, from your couch?

That's right, by the end of 2016 you'll be able to listen to Miss Amüsgöll from the comfort of your couch, in the kitchen chopping carrots, while changing your baby's diaper, or even when you're out for a jog...

(Because we all exercise regularly, right...?)

Project schedule for Miss Amüsgöll To Go!

Professional recording session in the metropolitan heart of Berlin. Some pieces will be recorded with piano/bass/drums for added groove (so finally, you have an excuse to groove on your couch)

- the whole session will be supervised by a sound engineer, graduate of the UDK Berlin.

//October//

Professional photoshoot in Paris with an amazing photographic team (after all, a good album should be enjoyed in the same way as a beautiful book of art from a museum, purchased as a treat after an inspiring Caravaggio exhibition)

Mastering - the sound engineer gives his blood, sweat and tears to achieve the perfect sound.

Last aesthetic tweaks are made before the CD is released

But who is this 'Miss Amüsgöll'?

My name is Amelie Saadia - born in France, I started piano at the age of 5 and intended to become a pianist. At the age of 18, I went to Germany to study singing at UDK, the University of Arts in Berlin. In 2013 I plucked up the courage to start writing and composing, finally combining piano and voice, in both French and German. I dare to try and emulate the greats by saying with my music and lyrics that which so many others have already expressed. After all, aren't humour, melancholy, bitterness and love reinvented every day, in every moment?
