Who are we? We are a young team of startuppers passionated about the project, and convinced there is a healthier, more ethic to the traditional cosmetic for men.  Laurent is the founder of the brand and the idea of the project came as the media highlighted the damages caused by plastic on oceans' life, and by chemical cosmetic on our organism. He decided to propose a different way to respond to human needs, fairer to each of the contributor, and conscientious of our environment. His path crossed Valerie's, manager of a French laboratory that has already launched its own organic brand, dedicated to pregnant women. Sharing the same vision of cosmetic, their collaboration quickly evolved in a strong partnership. Monsieur Arsène aims to get immediately on the international scene, as to take profit from the excellence renown of the French cosmetic. Monsieur Arsène, what is it all about? Monsieur Arsène is above all the story of a familial tradition that dates back to 1873, when the founder's ancestor settled in a small village in Algeria, to rule an exploitation of olive, organize and prickly pears trees. The man is then known for his full black beard of which he is taking care by applying a mixture of vegetal oils, following a local recipe. One and a half century later, we pay tribute to him by optimizing the original formula to adapt to contemporaneous needs: an eco-friendly brand that would also be conceived as a fair business, an alternative to traditional cosmetic, launched end of September with a first set of products deducted to face and beard care products. <img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/536870/Ensemble_CF-1534886953.jpg" width="100%" /> So, what's the offer ? At Monsieur Arsène, we are manufacturing in small quantities and artisanal way, in our laboratory in Lille, what allows us to bring the necessary attention to deliver your products with quality. As much as possible, we are selecting French suppliers for the raw materials, to privilege the short circuits.  Our products are elaborated with ingredients which are carefully selected for their natural properties, excellent for the skin and the beard, and natural active ingredients which enhanced their performance. Their are conceived with a light texture and a discreet green orange perfume, especially elaborated by a renowned perfumer. Because we care about your health and our planet, our products do not contain paraben, silicone nor nasty ingredient. They are 100% natural, 90% organic, which is 9 times as much as the minimum required to get an organic label. And as such, our products are Cosmos Organic certified, a label which is internationally recognized for its critères exigeants et garantie de la qualité de nos produits. We are fully vegan friendly, what is a personal choice not to use any animal ingredient and not to make the different obligatory tests on our animal friends. To guarantee a better conservation of your products on a longer period, without alternating the natural properties, we decided to use a glass that is specially conceived to filter the light. This glass is recyclable, as much as any of the packaging element.  Finally, Monsieur Arsène aims to be a fair brand; around 10% of the benefits will be used to support the development of poor regions. Concretely, our investment will help to set up exploitations of organic prickly pears, one of our ingredients, where communities like the Mayas', would work in decent and human conditions. Allocation of funds

Why and what are we to finance? Such a project does not only need a few dollars. We estimate the cost to at least 50,000€ to begin. 10,000 €  from our own sparings 25,000 € from a bank credit With this crowdfunding campaign, we hope to gather the remaining 15,000 €. The Company Arsène by Laurent SASU under its brand Monsieur Arsène will perceive the total of this collect.   What's the calendar of this project? We are working on this project since July 2017 and we are now at the end of the preparation period. 31st Aug- bottles and jars are shipped to our printer 7th Sept - Deadline for the numeric printing on the bottles and jars 10th Sept- Manufacturing launch in our laboratory in Lille. 20th Sept - Launch online and of the selling campaign worldwide thanks to our sales force, already in place in around twelve countries. 30th Sept - End of the KissKissBankBank campaign and shipping of your products, along with your surprise...   How are we going to use all these resources? • 11 880 € Research & Developement • 13 140 € Production • 4 560 € Boxes • 4 825 € Bottles and jars • 4 970 € Numeric printing of the labels • 1 800 € Packaging • 4 550 € Vegan brushes • 1 010 € Pouches • 1 500 € Internet site creation • 450 € Storage costs • 850 € Cosmébio adhesion • 900 € Brand protection We have established a first stage at 5 000 €, which we hope we are going to reach and extend to the 15 000 € needed. Here is how we are planning to use the finances, by stage:  5 000 € : we will print the labels on bottles and jars 7 500 € : we will adhere to Cosmos Organic, pay for 3 months of storage for the initial stock, and let the pouches manufactured to conserve the brushes. 10 000 € : we are financing the internet site and some recyclable packaging for the individuel shipping abroad. 15 000 € : we have the vegan beard brushes manufactured And we are beyond the objectives? This would enable us to build a living brand, to constitue a complete range of products, always with the same philosophy: ecofriendly, ethic, and respectuous. Together, we can make it!
