Are you asking yourself what "For a Domac" means?

Well It's a french expression that refers to Mcdonald's. In France they reduce the word -Macdo, and then they invert the syllables and Voila: "Domac".

And so, “For a Domac” is a Project that rise to respond a everyday question:“where to eat? In Paris, despite the reputation of French food, the answer is usually fast food.

But there are occasions when you get tired of the same old options and want to try something new.

The question is not so simple; one of the easiest way to answer it is through the random information you can find on the internet, in some apps, or in adverts but at the end you realised that the information is just useless.

I've explored my environment and I started to gather addresses and keep the best of them in a notebook:

An informal and personal list which can be used to escape trouble when you want to invite your girlfriend, an old friend or other people who you want to hang out and eat something more special than tomatoes and onions.

So I chose the best addresses that I have collected and created an exclusive list, all with similar prices and service times as that of Macdo, but with an advantage: the unique environment of each establishment. Because "For a Domac" is before all else a guide of moments.

The guide includes information on the places, the dishes and some facts about the area the restaurant is in.

Book

In order to keep a fresh perspective on the project, I have worked with Laura, a Colombian exchange student with whom I have had the possibility to discuss the readability of the contents to make this book as open to as many people as possible. Both for visitors and Parisians alike.

Why a book?

The idea of a book responds to the original idea of an informal notebook that regroups addresses, so we wanted to conserve this shape and make a simple and attachable and object that you can flick through, read, browse and share

2) Because of the object: to see a different and unique guide with new techniques of print.

3) Because of the experimental side: in fact each step of the Project will be the issue of a work dedicated to test new ways of finance, produce, print, communication…
