Hi guys ! How are you ?   It’s been a while. I had to take some time to gather my thoughts about what just happened…I mean, last month opening was better than I ever had imagined. I had the chance to see many smily faces even if i twas only glimpses since I had to run all over the place. Revealing the Shadows was presented for the first time after working on for the past 17 months. I am so happy that you are all part of it and by the result.   Btw, I still need some of your address to give to some of you their rewards so please let met know when we could meet or where I could send it. Again, thank you for making this project happen !   Back to business :   1.I can tell you that the series is working and people are really enjoying it, that’s what the director of the venue told me. It’s good and we had different people sharing the page after the opening and I did 3 interviews for different platform and magazine (waiting to have them published).  Revealing the Shadows was featured in a conference about portraits in photography in Luxembourg yesterday, pretty cool stuff (hopefully a podcast will soon be available).   If eveything works as planned, on April 15th, the series will be exhibited in Vilnius (Lithuania), at the French Institut. What I would like is to bring the series in each countries that the models come from (21 in total so a lot of work to do) so it is why it would be amazing if you talk about it to your friends, family, friends of friends and may be get contacts for an exhibition or for an article in the local newspaper. So if you have some, let me know and I’ll take care of it.   2.The exhibition is still on the walls of Les Récollets till the 3rd of January so if you would like to show it to friends or family and want me to come along, it would be my pleasure. I also have so many mirror to give to the people coming (also available at the front desk of Les Récollets).   3. I love this project (my favorite one so far) and I gave it a lot of time and energy but now I have to get back to work. I mean a « real full time job ».  If you have any contacts, here in Paris, please let me know cause mid-January is my deadline. Just saying.   - At the opening, we’ll have the pleasure to have Ula & Gerard (both NewParisians) playing for us and JC (also in the series) playing with his band.   - « Revealing the Shadows The Movie » will be projected inside the building starting just after the speaches.  It will be a good opportunity to see the photos really big !   - I worked on 2 different versions of the press release. French and English and here are the links. If you know anybody working in media (France and overseas) that could be interested in relaying the information of our exhibition, to come at the opening,, to make a paper, to make an interview or anything else that could help our project to be seen worldwide, that’ll be great ! Last night I did the 50th portrait for Revealing the Shadows. Jean-Christophe, who comes from Mauritius, chose the word "Lumières" to represent his Paris. To exhibit this photo, we need your help. Hello, We still have 36 days to raise funds and if each person can find a friend who is willing to support the project forf € 1 and that same person find an another person willing to put the same amount and so on, we can create a large community around the project.
