Short Ideas during a show in january 2023 - © Jeanne Fourneau-Verdonck So... a crowdfunding after recording? When you record an EP or LP, recording in the studio is only the first step! This is where it all starts. Then, you need to be able to promote it. This is why we chose to fund our project now that everything is recorded. What will we do with all that money Here is the repartition of the use of your contributing to the fees (sorry, it's in French! More details in English below) Videos : 900 € Video is an important promotional object for our musical project, that helps us puting forward a powerful visual universe. We need that money to create either a videoclip or a live session in a scenery built for the occasion. Artwork : 650 € In order to illustrate our songs, give them an image for the streaming platforms and also using them for the songbook and the merchandising (shirts, postcards, posters...). This images are made by an artist we really like, Anais Rallo (@anaisrallo), that had already worked on the artwork of our first LP Drying Leaves On a Line. Printing : 620€ 100€ is needed for us to print the postcards in risography (by @rdryerstudio.riso in Brussels). The printing of our songbook that will be done in italy wil cost us 320€. Then we need 200€ to buy the material for screen printing the posters. Shirts : 460 € To make super comfy shirts, we chosed organic coton shirts by Stanley/Stella. The price also includes the price of the colours to screen print them. We had already made shirt with the visual of our previous LP. Photoshoot + accessories : 350 € To promote the image of our band, and also illustrate our songs, we choosed Jeanne Fourneau (@jeannefourneau), a photographer whose work we really appreciate. Kisskissbankbank fees : 279 € The crowdfunding platform takes 8,4% of our collecting. In exchange, they help us make of our crowdfunding a success! Digital promotion : 200 € We need some money to promote our new project on the social medias. The idea is to sponsor our posts and target the right audience. Wrappings : 70 € To be able to send all of the things we will give you, we will need wrappings! As most as possible recycled cardboard and no plastic. Streaming fees : 70 € We will pay the services of CD Baby to put our tracks online and collect our royalties! What if we do more than 3600? If we go over 3600€ (and even to 4500€) : We may be able to cover unexpected costs (+100€) We will be able to get more audience with a press agent (+450€) We could be doing a bigger and better videoclip (+250€) We could produce more merchandising (+100€) Help us do it!
