Solidarity Project to the Philippines

<p> <img alt="Photopr_sentation-1422886578" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/158213/photopr_sentation-1422886578.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>Who are we ?</strong></u></p> <p> Culture time: Compagnon means a French Scout between 17 and 21 years old. Contrary to the previous years, the Compagnon doesn't have any Chief, only an Accompagnateur (in English, it would be called a companion, but a companion helping a Compagnon is quite confusing). So the Accompagnateur guide the Compagnon all the way long for his 3 last years as a young in the Scoutism movement. During those 3 years, the Compagnon has a main goal : to build and live a solidarity project on an international dimension. But is the Compagnon show solidarity, he's not a solitary person. He's surrounded by other Compagnons and together, they form a team going from 3 to 8 persons. And in ours, we are 5: Manon, Clémentine, Solène, Adèles et Louis, and you can get to know us better by wtching the video we've post above. Ours, it's May Dinn. And you, reading our words, you're kind of May Dinnian too now, because May Dinn means be ours in Irish. And to ask for your support, it's our way to invite you to follow our poject, our progression, but mainly to ask you to take part of the realisation of the project if you want to. To this is our way to invite you to go on adventure with us, except that this one can't be lived without you.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>When  ?</strong></u></p> <p> From July, 15tg, to August, 15th 2015.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>Philippines, why ?</strong></u></p> <p> This project is for us like an outcome for all our Scoutism years. We'd like to live there an intercultural and intergenerational dimension, and develop there some human relationship, while providing our help. Indeed, Philippines, although being a very poor country, is one of the most welcoming and cheerful one in the world. This country seems to combine all that would permit us to live this experience in the wished dimensions.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Mamie-1423042890" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/158798/mamie-1423042890.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <u><strong>And once we're there?</strong></u></p> <p> There, we are engaging ourselves with the association Kalipay, which works around abandoned children, abused, underfed, forced to work.. Indeed, nowadays, more than one million of child live in the street, left to themselves. So this association aim to bring as much joy and peace as they can to those children, where their needs are satified (food, home, clothes, hygiena..) Members of the association act like parents to them and help children to rebuilt themselves, especially via education which is one of the main values of Kalipay.The association own at this day two "houses" that host atound 85 children, including a school. They are educated until they are able to find a job and be inserted in an activ and autonomn life. </p> <p> Our mission there would be to follow children by providing classes (maths, english, geography..), sport and even art (music, dance, drawing…) Morover, we would help the member of the association in their dailys tasks (cooking, cleaning..).</p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Trajet-1423042630" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/158796/trajet-1423042630.png"></p> <p>  </p>
