Tall Order - Premier album

<p>The project is called <strong>Tall Order</strong> but my name is Charlie Couteau.</p><p>I'm a human being living in the South West of France.</p><p>Apart from doing the things that allow me to sustain my vital bodily functions, I've been playing music since I was 13.</p><p>One day, I decided that those wouldn't exist in two distinct categories anymore.</p><p> </p><p><img alt="17361906_10155270054386015_795102979992077863_n-1492378258" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/413945/17361906_10155270054386015_795102979992077863_n-1492378258.jpg"></p><p><strong>I look just like this but in 3D.</strong></p><p> </p><p>It was 2013 and I was living in Sydney, Australia at that time. It was sunny and hot there (or the other way around) and I felt freer than ever before. That's when I started composing music, crafting my identity with each note, chord and lyric and tim-tams also (they're delicious Australian chocolate thingies). </p><p> </p><p>It always had been on my mind but I had never really given it a shot.</p><p>So I composed a first song that I recorded alone in my living room, with just my guitar and my smartphone. I called it "Summer is a lie", a song inspired by how Christmas feels on the Australian beaches.</p><p>I sent it to my friends and family a few days after Christmas, as a <a target="_blank" href="http://soundcloud.com/chrlcto/summer-is-a-lie">present</a>.</p><p>I was super proud of it. The sound wasn't exactly flattering but it was my very first original song, the first one that I ever finished.</p><p>That's what mattered to me because it was like my first steps, like the first milestone.</p><p>Someday I'll finally be able to hold my music in my hands and maybe who knows, also put it in the ears of other sentient beings...</p><p> </p><p>It's you I'm talking about, by the way. Can you focus a little?
