Une vie de château – A golden youth

<p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Intro" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/61193/intro.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>The concept</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> Continuing my photographic work, and more specifically my series called “The ordinary man of an invisible man”, I’m producing a new series of a dozen of pictures, treating of young people well born in their daily lives. The theme I’m addressing is the golden youth of young lords and ladies, making their ways in a luxury environment as simply and easily as a Parisian in a 30m2, and pushing hedonism to its limits, until the breaking point with conventions.</p> <p>  </p> <p> My idea is to show that these young people live their every day life as simply as us all; except they live surrounded by money and luxury. As we can be all jaded with our lives, so are they, except their excesses are as big as their lifestyle, breaking the conventions.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Diving into their daily life microcosm through these pictures, the viewer impregnates himself with it, and becomes the invisible witness of the privileged life of this golden youth. He is the watcher of their routine and idleness; and their casual attitude towards luxury. </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="07-1" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/60735/07-1.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>La réalisation</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> The project will be composed by a series of photos of ordinary moments of everyday life, composed as frames out of a film. There will be the scene in front of the chimney where the young people are having a drink; the scene with the piano, and the others playing chess; the scene in the stairs; the scene in the stables, before or after the horse ride; the scene of the boat ride on the lake, with the lady holding a parasol… All those scenes are not exhaustive and will depend on the story-board which will be conceived regarding the castle.</p> <p>  </p> <p> In this series, no invisible man, but in the same manner, there will be a disruptive factor which will serve the subject, representing the fantasy of the projection that these young people have about themselves; factor that I want to keep secret for its surprising effect!</p> <p>  </p> <p> Like my series “The ordinary life of an invisible man”, the picture will be a photo with a little bit of digital manipulations. Those manipulations are not the first interest of the project, but are here to serve the project and will be forgotten so that only the photo aspect retains the attention of the eyes.</p> <p>  </p> <p> The pictures will be very polished, very sensual. The shooting will be done in a beautiful castle with a Hasselblad camera, in order to get the best quality as possible, and with a regular production team.</p> <p>  </p> <p> The shooting will be done in June; post-production will last about 6 months, so the series will be ready by the end of the year. </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="M-1" src="https://kkbb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/project_image/image/60762/M-1.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Mon travail</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> My primary work is graphic designer; but I got back to my first love 5 years ago when I took again a camera under my arms.</p> <p>  </p> <p> I realized a few series of landscapes and cities. The one I made about New York is in the gallery Wanted in Paris, and is quite famous amongst people.</p> <p>  </p> <p> I realized two conceptual series, “The ordinary life of an invisible man” and “One day, my child you will be!”. They both made a lot of noise. I was selected amongst the twelve finalists of the “Bourse du talent mode 2012” concourse, laureate of the “Bistro photo 2013” concourse, I was invited to the photo festival in Seyssel, published in Figaro Madame, Compétence photo and other foreign magazines.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Those two series were published on the web worldwide, and I was selected to expose on the last Balt’Art contemporary art exhibition that took place at the Pavillon Baltard in last October. I also made a fashion shooting for Citizen K magazine.</p> <p>  </p> <p> My photos are actually exposed at the Bettina Gallery rue Bonaparte in the 6th arrondissement in Paris, in the Wanted Galery rue Roi de Sicile in the 3rd arrondissement.
