Hello, I’m Wuzzle. I’m the Little Black Cat. I live in the white house with Stephen and Laura. They’re my friends, and they’re very good to me. When I was alone and lost, miserable and hungry – very, very hungry – Stephen was kind to me. He spoke gently to me, stroked me, and made me feel much less miserable. Laura gave me milk to drink and food to eat, so I didn’t feel so hungry. They took me into their house (which is white, but with a red roof) and looked after me. Now, I live with them all the time (except when I go exploring, and get a bit lost, or have to shelter from the rain, and wait until it’s dry again before I go back to the white house). I like living with them. They feed me whenever I feel a bit hungry, and I sleep on their sofa, or under the bushes outside the house. Sometimes I play with them, and pretend to fight them. They let me do (almost) whatever I like. I often roll onto my back, so that they can rub my tummy. I really enjoy that!

Stephen was very kind to me when I was hungry and miserable. When I first saw him, I was very unhappy, but he made me feel much better. Now, I’m happy almost all the time. But I know that Stephen needs something, something called money. I don’t know what it is, and I don’t know where to find any. If I could, I would find some for him and give it to him. I’ve thought about it a lot, and I’ve looked to see if I could find any, somewhere, but I’m not really sure what it looks like, and I haven’t found any yet.

So, I want to ask you for some help. If you like black cats, maybe you will help me. Please can you give me some money, just a little – or a lot if you like! Then I can give it to Stephen, to thank him for being kind to me. Stephen is writing stories about me. He is writing about how I came to live with Laura and him, and the things that have happened to me, and that I have done, since I came to live at the white house. If you give me some money for him, I think he will share the stories with you, and some pictures of me, like those you can see here.

Please help me. I’m just a Little Black Cat, and I can’t do very much myself (I can catch little rabbits, sometimes, or a mouse or rat …). Please give me some money, so that I can help Stephen.
