Altist and violinist, born in Mulhouse in 1973, Christophe has gained a diploma of the national music schools of Bordeaux and Grenoble, and is a registered alto and violin teacher. Christophe is also compositor and musical arranger. After four years in the Pau Orchestra as Solo alto player (2004-2008) he decides to dedicate himself to smaller formations that will allow him to explore musical styles of various periods with greater freedom and creativity. He is a member of Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse, Ensemble Vitali (Baroque sonatas) Ensemble Suonatori (baroque jam sessions) where he plays baroque alto and violin. He is also a member of the Compagnie des arts, where he plays pieces inspired from tango and contemporary music. (discography: « L’histoire du tango » éd. He also plays in the group Ericnemo & String Ensemble (indie folk rock songs), in the Irish music duo Busker & Keaton (discographie : album « Busker & Keaton » autoproduction 2009, DVD « From Cork to New York » autoproduction 2013, national tour of France organised by the Jeunesse Musicales de France) and in the quartet « Rencontre particulière » (compositions « Baroc’n’jazz »). He is a foundator member of the group Eylam, where he plays his compositions with other musicians using his new instrument, the élamophone.
