Biografie
Philanthropist, idealist, humanist, architect and extraordinary photographer, REZA has been travelling the world for over 30 years, witnessing wars and moments of peace. Being more than just a photographer, Reza has been dedicated to promoting visual education among youth and women in hope of attaining a better world. In 2001, he founded the NGO Aina in Afghanistan along with developing other training programs throughout the world, all while pursuing his reports for different international medias. Reza, residing in Paris and an author of 27 books, exposes his work worldwide, including these exhibitions: Crossing Destinies, War + Peace, One World One Tribe, Hope, Windows of the Soul, Soul of Coffee. Being a Fellow of National Geographic and Senior Fellow of the Ashoka Foundation, Reza has been awarded many times, receiving the World Press Photo Award and the Infinity Award. He has also received several titles from American universities, such as the Doctor Honoris Causa from the American University of Paris and the Honor Medal from the University of Missouri. France awarded him with the Médaille de chevalier de l’ordre national du Mérite.
