Title: Open The Door
Periode: april 2016 - delivery: may 2016
DESCRIPTION DU PROJET -
Our intention is to make an inspiring film full of hope and emotion.
The story of two dancers that meet by chance on a deserted basket ball
court observed in the distance by two young children. A strong complicity grows between the couple leading to an energetic infectious dance. A fusion of hip-hop, street jazz, salsa, classic and contemporary dance.
The children imitate the choreography in their own naive childlike manner. A kind of musical develops between the parallel characters and a poetic sophisticated choreography springs to life from this chance encounter.
Dance is the fundamental motivation for this video. Through dance the central characters meet, share, exchange and fuse. Their bodies express and speak for themselves with simply no need for words.
Dance leads to way to breaking down the barriers, crossing frontiers, reaching out to our kindred spirits, our fellow souls marking an end to fear and inhibition.
Naturally the bodies of the dancers flow together to find visual harmony, lightness and joy.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER -
Above all, photography is a type of daily experimentation (her camera is always with her…).
To re-transcribe “its” reality; traces lived, seen; perceptions, feelings… With a singular eye, her photographs reflect her desire to chart the world. She is very sensitive to the construction of images. Like every photographer, she likes images and doesn’t get weary of seeing them. She hopes that her photographs will astonish, similar to how she likes to be astonished by the one’s of others.
Wonder, surprise, divergence… All of these occurrences that make us apprehend the world differently. “Photographer: more than a status, it’s a condition".
