New Project for the NGO: Terre Espoir
Purchase of a second container to store in this ‘workshop’ all the materials and tools collected for months (mini computers/kits of small battery-drills and painting accessories) for perusal in the learning workshops dedicated to street children.
The installation of this new container will enable the creation of two socio-educational spots in the same area.
4 internet access stations will be accessible outside the Learning container building enabling more opportunities for learning activities.
Afterschool activities without necessarily the ongoing presence of a coach
The accessible websites will be exclusively driven towards socio-educational links like Khan Academy. The second activity is focussed on openness of mind and enriching knowledge with mini personal or group projects.
The tools and equipment have been bought to sustain the workshop called ‘ La fabrique’. The projects can be experienced by teenagers on a site like INSTRUCTABLES.com
The operation is planned to operate the start of July.
Welcoming area for the second container beside the library-container and 2 benches.
The NGO organises workshops called ‘decouvertes’ as wood carvings in the region
The environmental area is looked after with workshops with children focussed on gardening
Operation team: Elodie Delettre (treasurer) and Philippe Roucou (President) director of the project , supported by Marjorie Lenette, Ashveen Pariapen,Helary Yeung, Prisca Laverdure, Pamela Jean-Charles and Herbert Boff.
