Help finance the FIRST herbivorous zombie movie!

The project

After an epidemic was contained, the infected zombie population evolved to coexist with humanity and live in forests. A group of theses harmless and herbivorous creatures struggle to survive while partaking in the latest hobby: zombie hunting. However, violence is often contagious...

Zombie Fall is all about changing the message of the zombie genre without betraying the codes.

We have imagined and created zombies with an original design. Traditional zombies eat flesh or brains; ours are covered in leaves, plants and mushrooms that grow on them.

Some of our zombies designed by our makeup artist and costume designer.

The project was born from a partnership between the French Film School « École de la Cité » created by Luc Besson (Director of the 5th Element and Lucy) and the international special effects make-up school Make-Up Forever – Cinema & TV Academy.

The film will be shot from March 27th to March 31st in the Bois de Vincennes, a forest located right outside of Paris. A large number of École de la Cité film students will participate while selected professionals will hold key positions.

Why fund it?

Zombie Fall is our most ambitious project. We have put together a team of professionals who believe in the film and are willing to dedicate their time for free. However, we cannot make this film without your contribution!

Your generosity will allow us to pay for:

- Professional filming equipment: we want the best quality for our film so that it can travel to festivals around the world

- Costume and Make-up: each character design will be unique and made specifically for the film

- Set design and props: a house interior will be recreated in studio, and a number of props will be needed to make the film as realistic as possible

- Transportation and catering: we need to rent vehicles to move our equipment to the set and more importantly, we need to feed a crew of over 40 people for 5 days in the middle of a forest!

If we exceed our target of 2900 euros, we can take Zombie Fall even further and get a music composer on board, organize screenings, enter the film to festivals, and much more!

If you cannot help us financially, you can still support the film by liking and sharing our Facebook page and spreading the word!

Thank you so much for helping us make Zombie Fall a reality!

Samantha Babboni and Anton Likiernik are first-year students in directing and screenwriting (respectively) at the École de la Cité, the film school created by French director Luc Besson. They are the creators of Zombie Fall, an innovative short film that reverses the traditional roles of the zombie genre.
