Wij hebben er meer dan genoeg! Jij, ik, hij, zij … en wanneer we deze ideeën en mensen met elkaar vermengen hebben we opeens nog meer! En dat is wat <strong>Co[labo]rations wil zijn</strong>: een ontmoeting tussen 2 belgische en twee Quebecaanse artiesten. Dankzij de belgisch-Quebecaanse koppels zullen 2 gloednieuwe voorstellingen ontstaan!</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Brussel</strong> en <strong>Montreal</strong> zijn ideale steden voor dit project. Ze kennen beiden dynamische platformen die artistieke steun onderzoeken, die <strong>hybridisering</strong> van artistieke praktijk toelaten en belangrijker nog: een <strong>open horizon van mogelijkheden</strong> bezitten om ons eraan te herinneren dat ‘kunst en cultuur’ een breed veld van praktijken op elkaar kan betrekken en niet enkel deze die meestal belicht worden.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Als interdisciplinair project heeft elke kunstenaar een verschillende kunstpraktijk. Dit <strong>belooft innovatieve en intrigerende resultaten</strong>, laten ons ze aan jullie tonen!</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>1ste koppel</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="Frances___gosie-1478798344" height="194" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/367407/Frances___Gosie-1478798344.jpg" width="549"></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Frances Adair McKenzie</strong>  <img alt="Drapeau_qu_bec-1478795948" height="12" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/367373/Drapeau_qu_bec-1478795948.png" width="21"></p> <p>  </p> <p> Frances Adair Mckenzie is een<strong> multimedia artiest die genres en technologieën combineert.</strong> Haar werk in <strong>motion-design, animatie en immersieve installaties</strong> roept een mengeling van culturele referenties op.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Met een oog op zowel kunstgeschiedenis en popcultuur leunt haar werk op precedenten uit het feminisme en de digitale cultuur. Op deze manier wordt haar voorstelling een subversieve D.I.Y ruimte, alsook een manier tot zelfbeschikking.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Gosie Vervloessem</strong>  <img alt="Drapeau_belge-1478795880" height="13" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/367370/Drapeau_belge-1478795880.gif" width="20"></p> <p>  </p> <p> Gosie Vervloessem<strong> observeert en bevraagt natuurlijke fenomenen</strong> om zo hun onderliggende functie te onderkennen en deze op miniatuur schaal te reconstrueren.</p> <p> Ze <strong>experimenteert regelmatig met de wetten van fysica, chemie en biologie</strong> voor huishoudelijke doeleinden die het basisrecept zijn voor haar voorstellingen.</p> <p> In 2010 begon Vervloessem onder de naam ‘<em><a href="https://domesticscienceclub.wordpress.com/">Domestic science club</a></em>’ te werken. Sinds de winter van 2012 werkt ze in Montréal. In samenwerking met verschillende kunstenaars en structuren, beheert, co-regisseert, choreografeert en danst Léa in verschillende<strong> interdisciplinaire creatieve projecten in de publieke ruimte en in interactie met de voorbijgangers</strong>.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Door deze voorstellingen die dans en andere disciplines combineren wenst Léa reflectie en kritische discussie over kunst en maatschappij teweeg te brengen; wat brengt ons samen en wat scheidt ons.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Stéphanie Laforce <img alt="Drapeau_belge-1478795880" height="13" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/367370/Drapeau_belge-1478795880.gif" width="20"></strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Multidisciplinair </strong>kunstenaar Stéphanie Laforce bo<strong>u</strong>wt een<strong> poëtische geluidsmachine voor haar elektroakoestische composities </strong>waarmee ze een uniek universum ontwikkelt vol interactieve multimedia installaties, concerten, theater, expo’s, circus, …</p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> Op deze manier, in samenwerking met trapeze artiesten, maakte Stéphanie elektrische of akoestische windharpen, bouwde hutten in de stad en gaf concerten. Stéphanie <strong>bevraagt de plaats van mensen in een mechanische wereld door gerecycleerde plaatsen en materialen.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong><u>Thema</u></strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong><img alt="Test_1-1478801163" height="332" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/367413/Test_1-1478801163.jpg" width="549"> </strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> Om de samenwerkingen te voeden tijdens hun eerste residenties, het <strong>thema van Immersie </strong>voorgesteld. Verschillende manieren van immersie zijn mogelijk: zintuigelijke immersie, omgevingsimmersie (getransporteerd worden naar een andere wereld dankzij een verhaal of een andere context) of een materiële immersie (een vaste stof in vloeistof dompelen opdat het concept zichtbaarheid/onzichtbaarheid, verschijning/verdwijning van een beweging, lichaam of object tevoorschijn komt).</p> <p>  </p> <p> De immersie brengt vragen over hedendaagse onderwerpen naar boven: dankzij het enorme aantal stimuli die we elke dag tegenkomen worden wij uitgenodigd of zelfs gedwongen in de wereld van anderen. Op deze manier komt de pluraliteit van verschillende werelden en de vraag naar realiteit naar boven.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This thematic has also been an <strong>inspiration</strong>. The concept is developed by the organization <a href="http://tastingexperiences.flavors.me/#and-click-here-for-our-video-reel" target="_blank">The Sound of Flavour</a>, that is specialised in multi-sensory experiences.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong><img alt="Unspecifiedl-1480755802" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/374235/unspecifiedl-1480755802.jpg"> </strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> "By inviting people to taste chocolate in combination with different songs, we want to make them aware on how their senses interact while enjoying food. What you hear, see and touch will influence your taste. The goal is not only to supply technical resources to artists but <strong>set up meeting spaces in order to support creation.</strong></p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>The idea is to build this project as an organisation of links between artists, structures and audience</strong>. Therefore, the main role come back to the artists while several cultural actors are there as catalysts.</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Responsibilities</strong> I take are varied: assistance in artistic direction, programming, production, mediation, communication, financing researches and prospecting partners.</p> <p>  </p> <p> These ones allow me to find a balance which is important to me : firstly management, secondly, creative aspect where I have the liberty to suggest ideas and feed the project.</p>
