<p>I have always taken photos. My photos were beautiful but they didn’t tell a story. But during my second trip to Vietnam in 2011 I finally found my style. I returned to Vietnam at the end of 2012 with a good digital camera and I took photos for my “Asia” collection. These photos have not been reworked, just reframed. If you follow the link <a target="_blank" href="http://www.canalzoom.com/thierry-cantillon-et-sarah-geeninckx-exposent-a-gembloux/">http://www.canalzoom.com/thierry-cantillon-et-sarah-geeninckx-exposent-a-gembloux/</a> you will see an interview on the local television channel Canal Zoom where I speak about my work during an exhibition I organised in Gembloux with the sculptor Sarah Geeninckx.</p><p><img width="100%" alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/511013/DSCN0317-1524995422.jpg" /></p><p>Now after exhibiting four times I have the chance to show this exhibition at the Verhaeren gallery <a target="_blank" href="http://galerieverhaeren.be">http://galerieverhaeren.be</a>, which specialises in photos and has been in existence for 25 years. The gallery was created and is managed by the national photojournalist of the Belgian national television station RTBF, <u>Vincent Verhaeren</u> <a target="_blank" href="https://vincentverhaeren.com">https://vincentverhaeren.com</a> . This exhibition gives me the opportunity to be recognised by my peers. </p><p><img width="100%" alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/511021/DSCN0444-1524995755.jpg" /></p><p> </p><p>The "Asia"exhibition was introduced by the psychoanalyst Angel Enciso Bergé. You can find his text on the website of the Louvain-La-Neuve cultural centre or via my website.</p><p>I have just completed a new series of photos, which will be exhibited in the same gallery in 2020 and maybe in the Exit11 gallery <a target="_blank" href="http://www.exit11.be">http://www.exit11.be</a>. Exit11 has a reputation for showing the work of artists who have created something both original and successful. Allocation of funds
<p> </p><p>This crowdfunding covers several actions:</p><p>1. €600 will finance the cost of the exhibition (private viewing, closing event, invitations, presence at the gallery).</p><p>2. 400€ will finance the graphics work to create a book of the “Asia” collection.</p><p>3. 975€ will finance the printing of 100 books, size 30cm x 30cm</p><p>4. 400€ will finance the cost of the rewards.</p><p>5. 208€ will finance the commissions (5% for KissKissBankBank and 3% for the bank cost).</p><p>6.
